I am in the middle of a demon zone.

That was the only think I kept telling myself over and over as Michael led me farther down the hall.

Why has he taken me here. As I thought about this I realized I had stopped moving. As I looked at my surroundings I noticed we were in a board room.

" Why are we here," I demanded.

" You'll know soon enough," he said, and I took that as my cue to shut up.
I soon got bored and sat in the floor next to Michael. I had almost fallen asleep when I heard a door bang open.

I felt different demonic energies enter the room as I sat straight up.

I still couldn't see but I was glad of that, from the look in Michael's eyes.

He was starting to creep me out a little.
After a few minutes everyone settled down and took their seats.

So no one could see me I started to scoot under the table but Michael put his foot in front of me. Telling me to say.

" Welcome everyone," said a deep voice at the head of the table." We are gathered here today because of an angel sighting."

The way he said that made my skin crawl. I need to get out of here.

I glanced under the table to see all the exits. One that Michael and I came in. One next to the end of the table, farthest away from the speaker. And one last one next to the head of the table. Behind the speaker. But it was also the closest one to me.

As I thought of me plan I felt Michael grab my wrist. He looked a bit nervous but I wondered why. If he turned me in wouldn't that be great for him.

As I thought of this I felt everyone stand but him. It even seemed that he was going to stay.

" Hey Michael, are you coming," said someone I had never seen before. From his energy, I felt he had once been an angel but is now a fallen.

" I'll be there shortly, I need to get something first," Michael said to him.

" Okay but hurry," he said." Don't want to make the boss angry."

" No we don't," Michael chuckled.
With that I heard the other guy leave and Michael pulled me up.

" Jessica," Michael said.

" Yes," I said with caution.

" You are going to go with Xavier back to my room. Understand." He said.

" Yes, but who's Xavier," I asked.

" Someone that won't turn you in," and that was all he said before a fallen stepped into the room.

He looked about 19 with dark blue eyes and light brown hair. If I didn't know what he was I would have thought he was a nice guy.

" This is Xavier," said Michael." He's taking you to my place."

Xavier then stepped forward and held his hand out to me. I gently put mine in his and he escorted me to a limo.

I sat down first followed by him.

The ride was quiet but not awkward. It was a friendly quiet that said no one had to speak if we didn't want to.

When we got to the building the driver opened the door for us and we walked inside. But not before Xavier put a hood over my head.

" What's this for," I asked him.

" To cover you," he said." Don't think that I can't sense them, cause I can."
He then let me walk inside and get on the elevator. I pushed the 9 button and we went up.

When we got to the ninth floor I then noticed that Michael's room was number 16. Two away from Gabriel and Raphael.

I then stop walking when I got in front of room 12 and just stood there. I then felt a hand on my back gently push me forward telling me to go on.

I then stopped at room 16 and waited for Xavier to open the room for me.

I then stepped inside the room and walked over to my bed and sat down.

This is going to be a long wait.

And with that I waited for Michael to come back.
