Pax stood with his hands in his jacket pockets, as if he hasn't just murdered three people. Chase was visibly shaken by recent events. Getting bashed in the head will do that to you. Aaron had by now already began to swing the stick she has picked up, favoring her new found weapon over her hands.

thump, thump, thump

"What's that noise?" Chase asked, looking around. Pax had a hint of a smirk on his face, if only fora moment.
"I see lights, and it kinda smells like beer over here." Aaron said, strolling towards an open area. Pax dashed ahead, quickly disappearing towards the lights.
"Pax! He's gonna get himself killed if he keeps doing that..." Jayden said, starting off towards the strung-up Christmas lights and the pounding bass.
•••Pax's POV•••
I sped toward the music and lights, only to trip over a rock and smash my face into a stump. My eyebrow was bleeding profusely, spilling into my line of sight. I muttered a curse, and was about to take off again when I heard someone beckoning me.
"Hey! Kid! Yeah, you! Come here!" Said the stranger. I looked questioningly at the stranger, but decided to go over there. I began to walk towards him, and as I walked, I realized he was holding a cup in his hand. He was wearing grunge pants and a sleeveless sweatshirt. His combat boots were muddy. He was smiling and was right at the edge of a makeshift door leading to the abandoned building that had just come into view.
"That must be where the party is being held."
Once I became within six feet, he spoke once more.
"Welcome to the party," he said, motioning to the door. As I started to close the six foot gap, my nostrils started to burn.
"Odin, what is that smell?" I asked, beginning to defer to my family's religion in speech.
"That, my naïve friend, is our signature drink," he held up his cup. "Want some?" He held out his cup this time. I thought about it for a moment, and decided; Why the heck not?
"Sure." I took it from him, eying it warily. I sniffed the drink, my nostrils searing. I took a nice, long, painful swig. My throat was burning. All of a sudden, my vision started to get blurry, and the man opened the door. I tumbled in.
