Aliana's POV
You don't really realize something is over until you are alone, and that's when every beautiful thought sinks in all at once. This happened to me. As I lay in bed that night, I've never felt so relieved. In fact, it was the first time in weeks I ever felt like all was right in the world even just for once. I still couldn't believe that something that seemed impossible happened to me for the last few months.
Maybe it's because the impossible implied to show me that everything in the world is possible.
And then I didn't even come to the thought of a reunion. My dad and my sister is here with me now. A happy family. The feeling of satisfaction, love and care went back from all that pain for the past seven years. A new chapter has already begun, and I'm the author.
It all happened so fast - an eerie story of how an orphan found her big sister by an audition. A story of how the girl found her true love, her true friends, and her true self. Enchanting and melancholic at the same time.
The thought of every tragic experience makes me nauseous. But the thought of positive things make my shoulders lift away all the weight of the world.
And here I am. Still alive, after everything that happened.
"Cole, put me down!" I screech, hitting him multiple times by my fist at his back.
My boyfriend of a year laughs hysterically. "Not until you admit that you stole my peanut butter cups!"
Oh right. I ate the Reese's on the refrigerator yesterday, but I didn't know that it was his until Kaye informed me after I ate them! So I chose to put a mask on and act innocent.
"I didn't! I swear!"
"Is this your revenge for me taking your potato chips last month?"
"No!" Kind of, but I think so.
"Liar!"
I laughed, throwing my head back before pounding my fists again. "Please put me down, I'm getting dizzy."
"I know you're the one who ate them, because I know you, you little doof." Cole whispers before running, making me even dizzier.
So I have made the decision to admit that I ate his beloved chocolate, "Okay, okay. I ate them because I thought they were the ones I bought and I thought that it was not yours!" Cole didn't put me down and taps his feet.
I groan. "I'm sorry. Please put me down."
My boyfriend plops me to the nearest couch as I close my eyes to ease my headache. "Geez, you're like a teenage girl on her period."
"You have to replace my chocolate or else." He warns, ignoring my comment.
"Fine, fine. I'll just have to buy you some of those later." I giggle, not opening my eyes.
"You'll just have to pay the price by offering the sweetest dessert ever."
"What is?"
"This." And after he said that one word, he crushes his lips into mine.
I was surprised by his actions. But those actions were sweet, by the way. I just followed my instincts and kissed my boyfriend's lips back. The kiss was chaste, and we didn't even make out. We just kissed, and with the kiss, we both felt loved even if it wasn't very intimate.
"Get a roooooooom." Kaye grimaces, throwing a nacho on Cole. We instantly broke the kiss and we both even squealed because of our position. I didn't notice that I was lying down on the couch with Cole on top of me. God, that was embarrassing.
