Ariana's POV
"Excuse me, have you seen Aliana Sykes?" I asked some students at the school. I sighed as some students shook their heads in disapproval. I went towards some other students as they all looked at me in disgrace. Of course, I understand them because they still don't know anything between me and Aliana.
Still, I kept on asking some other students, but nearly half of them were just asking for photographs and signs. Ugh, being a star is a little hard.
I scrunch my knees down and covered my face with my pink-gloved hands. I feel hungry and sick. And to all these people, I'm looking like a famous-person-who-is-idiotically-looking-for-an-idiot-girl-named-Aliana.
But I just want to meet Aliana again, to say sorry, to hug her and stroke her auburn hair like when I was singing to her some lullaby songs since we were adolescent kids. Then she's always like, "Can you sing to me a lullaby?" in her little tiny voice.
I laughed softly as I catched the memory. I'm still sitting down the school's white-tiled floor. It's been a long time since I've studied here, and I flunked the next shool years after being a Sophomore, because of being a star.
Then I felt a tap behind my shoulder. I looked up and saw a girl, maybe at Aliana's age, smiling at me and helping me up.
Then after I bid thanks, she spoke up, "Hi! I'm Kaye, I'm the best friend of Aliana. I heard that you're looking for her."
"Yes. Yes I'm looking for Aliana," I said, tucking a piece of my brown-streaked hair behind my ear. Then she smiled, "Come with me, I'll take you to her because that doofus owes me an explanation."
Thank goodness for generous people nowadays. Most people don't really care right now.

As Kaye and I went to her old tan Ford Taurus-which she said it was her father's ancient car, which sucks-I hopped in and Kaye started the engine. I used the worn-out seatbelt and Kaye drove swiftly but comfortably. I looked out the window as I admire the clean city.
"Aliana used to sit there," Kaye says, breaking the ice, which startled me.
I sighed. "Mmhm.." Then I touch the leather as I half-smiled.
"Is she a good friend?" I asked her while I pop a doublemint gum in my mouth (duh, I'm hungry!), and offered one to Kaye. She gladly took one and thanked me.
She smiled for a bit then glanced at me. "Yeah, she is a great friend. She's good at everything! And she's very, very smart. When we graduated at middle school, she cried because she was the salutatorian. Not only because of that, but because she had no parent to come up with her at the stage. We had no choice but let my mom join her." She said with a little sadness in her voice. I felt a pang of guilt in my chest while I swallow hard.
"And, hey! Hahaha, why am I telling you this? You're Ariana Grande. And I'm just an ordinary student!" she exclaims, throwing her free hand in the air. "But, I'm sorry for asking. Why are you so interested in Aliana?"
"The truth?" I said, and she nodded eagerly.
I sighed, "She's my sister."
"WHAT?" She yelled, her eyes almost bulged out of their sockets.
I giggled and after, I sighed, "Yeah. As a matter of fact, she is Aliana Jane Grande. Not Sykes."
She slumped back to her seat and puffed out her cheeks, "Damn. Why didn't Aliana told me that her sister was famous?"
I rolled my eyes playfully as I replied, "It's very, very confidential, Kaye."
"OMG, OMG. ARIANA GRANDE MENTIONED MY NAME."

"Knock, knock! Open up, Sam!" Kaye shouted as she knocked the white door of the house. I slumped back against the rough white walls as I hear the door creaked open.
"Oh, Kaye! Wait... Ariana?" Samantha asks, perplexed. Well, that's my long-lost cousin.
I waved. "Hi, Samantha."
"Y-you remember me?" She asked as I nod again. She let Kaye and I inside and let us sit on a comfy purple couch. Then, Samantha sat in front of us.
"Care for some hot cocoa?" she asked us. Kaye and I nodded. "Yes please."
"Uhm, Kaye? Can you please call Aliana? She's in her room, probably writing or drawing. But I think she's at her garden, talking to her tulips again." Samantha says, rolling her eyes. Kaye nodded and stood up as fast as a bullet.
"Ariana? I'll be back for a while. And oh. Please taste Samantha's homemade hot cocoa. It is out of this world." Kaye grinned before running to Aliana's room.

Aliana's POV
"...and, yeah. That's what I told my long-lost sister." I told my roses as I water them and add some soil to their pots. I rose up and took off my planting gloves. I admired my plants again as I beamed. The only thing that I can share my problems with is my flowers. Weird? Yah, call me weird.
I went to a near water hose and quickly washed my hands and dried it off with a firm towel. I'm seriously planning to take my plants inside the house, 'cuz I think they're shivering in the cold snow. I'll just ask Samantha to help me take the plants inside my room.
I was about to go to the living room, until I saw Kaye in my room. Of course I am surprised!
"Hey! What are you doing here?" I asked her as she stood up with her arms crossed. Uh-oh.
"Aliana Sykes. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU'RE ARIANA GRANDE'S LITTLE SISTER?" she yelled as I took a step back.
I shrugged and finally caught my senses. "U-uhm, h-how did you know?"
"Your frantic sister told me." she said as calm as she can, but I still can see the anger in her voice. How can Ariana find her?
"No. I'm the one who found her," Kaye said as I covered my mouth. Did I say that out loud? "Yes. You did." Kaye said again as I roll my eyes.
I put my hands to her shoulders and sighed, "What did she tell you?"
Kaye shrugged, "That she's looking for you. And she told me you're her sister. So... Your sister is here. At your house. Now."
Shoot.
