6. Pete: Ice Hockey

Pete had recently found out that you loved ice hockey. So for you 6 month anniversary Pete got you tickets to see an ice hockey game. You were so excited, you hadn't been to a game since you were 15 so this was gonna be so special. And to spend the moment with the one you love was even better.

*the morning of your 6 month anniversary*

You woke up just as Pete was stirring to life

"Morning baby." You smiled softly kissing Pete's cheek

"Morning honey" Pete said while stretching

"I love it when you try and speak while stretching. You sound so cute." Pete blushed

"I just love you (Y/N), no need for stretching." Pete said smugly making you feel bad

"Well I obviously love you all the time, I just 'super' love you when you try and speak while stretching" you chuckled trying to bring the conversation back in your favour

"I'll just go and get plastic surgery to stretch my face and make me constantly stretching shall I?!" Pete joked

Pete saw how much you were blushing and smirked pulling you into a kiss

"Happy 6 month anniversary (Y/N)" Pete muttered on your lips

You pulled back

"I thought you'd forgotten." You said excitedly

"Forgotten? Me?" Pete questioned

You glared at Pete playfully

"Well you did forget my birthday so I had a hunch you'd forget this too!" Pete blushed at this

"Well... I... It was an accident... I'm sorry" Pete gave you his puppy dog eyes.

"I forgive you, I guess" you smiled

"Well I know how you take off that "I guess"" Pete said reaching into his bed side table and pulling out and envelope. He handed it to you and you carefully opened it.

"OH MY GOD PETE! No you didn't?!" You sat up in bed staring at Pete in shock

"Yes baby I did!" Pete was taken back by your hug. It could be compared to a thankful rugby tackle.

Pete had got you tickets to an ice hockey game.

*at the game*

You got to the stadium with a few minutes to spare.

"Do you want anything?" Pete said getting in the line for the confectionaries.

"Just a water please." You smiled at Pete

"You sure you don't want anything else?" Pete asked.

"No that's fine for me thanks (Pete (sorry, I'll stop))." Pete laid a soft kiss on your forehead

"I'll get the drinks, do you wanna go sit down?" Pete suggested.

You nodded and went to find your seats

Just moments before the game started Pete found you and sat down.

"Wow that queue took a long time" Pete exclaimed

"Well at least you made it before the game stared"

Then the commentators came on the mics

"Ok so here we have the Black Bulls ready to dominate"

"But Theo we also have the Great Snakes (idek), this is gonna be a close game."

The game began and sure enough it was very close.

10 minutes in it was 2:1 to the Black Bulls. This was when they brought out the kiss cam. You hoped more than anything that it would land on you and Pete, hopefully not you and the 5 year old child next to you.

A few couples got picked by the kiss cam. Also a few strangers which is always awkward, for you to watch and obviously for them to take part in but I guess you can always just repress the memory if it's too traumatic

After about 4 people on the kiss cam you started to give up hope of it landing on you and Pete. Whenever you looked over at Pete he was staring at the kiss cam eagerly, you knew you both wanted the same thing.

Suddenly the game got really intense and you forget about the kiss cam.

All of a sudden you heard the crown chant...

"Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss..."

And then you felt Pete tap on your shoulder.

You looked over to Pete who was pointing to the kiss cam and smirking

Pete then leaned in and your lips softly collided. You smiled into the kiss and all noise around you faded into White Noise (by Pvris (sorry))

When the kiss broke you smiled at Pete and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you for making this the best 6 month anniversary ever." You rested your head on Pete's chest and watched the rest of the game.
