Chapter 3

Lana's POV

Lana's POV

They arrived at the boys' flat at five in the afternoon and they were all tired. After the macaroons, they had gone shopping and moved to at least five different locations. Now that they had arrived back they were showing each other their catch of the day.

They took turns at showing articles of clothing and Louis had demanded going first. They sat on the floor of the boys' living room with all their shopping bags beside them.

Louis brought out a blue striped shirt and the boys groaned. "Louis, your closet is already bursting with shirts that look exactly like that." Zayn said.

The Doncaster boy just shrugged and nodded to her, she was sitting on his right and it was her turn. She smiled and brought out something she knew Louis would die for. A blue beanie with a bright orange carrot sewed on it.

Louis made a grab for it but she put it away. "Lana!" He whined as the boys laughed. "You need to give that to me!!"

She just smiled and swapped the beanie she was wearing for the carrot beanie and motioned for Zayn to continue. He showed them a pair of organic grey sneakers that he got from Meji.

Lana couldn't control herself. "That's nothing." She said, proudly showing them a pair of galaxy print vans. They grinned at her and nodded.

It was Niall's turn next and he showed them a shirt with the print 'Fat Boy In A Thin Kid's Body'.

We all burst out laughing at the truth in it. Now it was Harry and he showed us a Jack Wills sweater which She agreed matched his eyes.

Liam now was taking out a white polo shirt which we all said would fit him.

"Lana pleaaaase?!!" Louis moaned and She shook Her head and stuck her tongue out.

"We'll if you aren't giving me that what did you get me?" He asked.

"What makes you think I got you something?"

"You bought some stuff in the men's wear and I want to know who it's for."

She glared at him for a while and rolled my eyes. "Fine. I got something for each of you." She said, taking five small shopping bags out.

"Why'd you do that, Lana?" Niall asked, his eyes sparkling.

"As a thank you. For letting me sing with you." A series of 'awwws' and 'you didn't have to' let out and She silenced them with her hand.

"Do you want me to return them to the store?" She smirked. "I didn't think so." She handed each of them the bags and they opened them eagerly.

Louis was the first to find out what his was and he hugged her for it, putting on the red carrot beanie that matched hers. "Now we match." He said taking a picture of both of us with his phone.

All the other boys said their thank yous in a different way. Niall gave her a crooked smile and hi fives her for the snap back they had the Irish colors. Harry cheekily kissed her on the cheek for the sweater that said 'Dimples'. Liam hugged her too, for the pair of red Vans she gave him but Zayn surprised her most. She had given him a pair of groovy John Lennon style glasses, he had said he was looking for a new pair of sunglasses and she saw he didn't find one. When she saw the pair of glasses at the flea market, she bought them immediately.

She thought he would smile at her and whisper a quiet thanks but he didn't. To her surprise, he fished in one of his bags and brought out a small jewelry box and handed it over to her, shyly.
