Lana's POV
"Remember. Answer only what you want to answer. Take deep breaths and don't panic." Zayn said to her with a worried look that made her giggle.
"Zayn, calm down, you look like you're giving birth." She said, laughing at him.
The six of them were in the lounge of the building, waiting to be called out by the management to go onstage for the interview. "It's your first time doing this! I don't want you to be a wreck." He said.
"Zayn, leave her alone, all you're doing is making yourself nervous." Liam said with an amused smile.
"Fine." Zayn huffed.
Lana, feeling a bit guilty pecked him on the cheek, "Don't worry about it, babe. Everything's going to be alright. I'm going on tour with you on Friday, we're going to be fine." She cooed, fixing his hair.
"Oi! Innocent people are watching here! Let's keep it PG alright?" Harry said, throwing a pillow at her.
Lana looked over at him with playfully narrowed eyes, "You? Innocent? Tell me another joke."
Zayn snorted and put his arm around her. "Besides, you're just jealous that I have a girlfriend and the rest of you don't. Well, except Nialler, how's the girl you fancy, mate?"
Niall, who had been busy eating an oatmeal cookie looked up ath them with a sad look in his eye which he tried to cover up with a smile. "It didn't work out. She fancied the waiter."
Lana raised a brow and looked at her boyfriend discreetly. Something was wrong with their Nialler.
Quietly she got up and walked over to Niall and they both went to sit on a couch a few steps away from the rest of the boys. They nodded at her, sure that she would make everything better.
"So, what's wrong, Niall?" She asked him as they sat down. The Irish lad sighed.
"I can't do this anymore. Everywhere I go, I see her face. I find myself talking alone because I think she's there with me. She's like a ghost. I can't see other girls because I remember her. But nothing really happened between us. We were the best of friends. She didn't know I loved her though, I still do. And the worst part is, I think she hates me." He rambles, Lana could even see tears forming in his grey eyes.
"Youve lost me Niall, who are we talking about?" She asked.
"Her name is Farah. She used to be my bestfriend until I went on the X Factor. We did everything together. But when I told her I waas leaving, she pushed me away. We both knew that we would have to leave each other someday, we just didn't expect it to come so soon. Farah's a tough girl, she is, but when it comes to friends, she's as harmless as a puppy." Niall said with a smile on his face.
"She sounds like a nice girl." Lana says, taking the boys hand in hers comfortingly.
"She is. And I can't believe I've lost her." He sighs sadly.
"What is lost can always be found. You can just go back to Ireland and say sorry, you know. "I'm scared, Lana. I'm scared that she won't be the same. I'm scared she won't be my Farah any more." He says.
Lana sighs, "Courage, Niall. But, if you really are that scared, you can wait a while, maybe after the tour."
"Maybe." He says with a faraway look in his eyes. "Oh, Lana, can you keep this as a secret. The boys don't know about it."
She smiled at him kindly, "Of course. Anything else?"
"Actually, yes. I want to say thank you. I needed someone to talk to." He said with a grateful grin.
