Hiccup's POV
You know when you're so scared and you feel your blood rushing and your mouth goes dry, combine that with fear and dread times ten. That voice is exactly who I didn't ever want to hear again.
"Peter..." I whispered. The ginger haired boy stepped over the lifeless infected and came face to face with me.
"How ya been Hicc?" He said whilst swishing his own machete around. If he's here that means Belle, Beast and the others are near.
"Alright..." I mumbled. I was thinking of ways I could escape this situation so Emma and I were unharmed.
"I see you got Emma with ya. Hey babe." He smirked at Em. She stepped forward and pointed at him accusingly.
"Don't you dare call me babe! You foul son of a bitch!" She spat. Peter stumbled back a bit in surprise but quickly brushed it off.
"So where's the rest of your gang?" He asked.
"Dead." I quickly said. I had to protect the others. Suddenly, I heard Emma gulp. I hoped to God that she would play along.
"What, everyone?!" Peter grinned.
"Everyone!" Emma burst out in tears. If we weren't in an apocalypse she would make a brilliant actress. "A...herd of infected got them! My brother, his girlfriend...EVERYONE!" She sobbed. Peter glanced up at me, mouth wide open. The little f*cker believed us!
"Where's your group?" I questioned. I began to circle Peter, I glared at him intimidatingly.
"Oh scouting about.." He said casually.
"Really?" Emma said with her eyebrows raised, she planted her hands on her hips.
"Yes really!" He sneered. Suddenly, the boy whistled loudly and a chorus of shouts came from outside.
"sh*t!" I mumbled. Emma glanced at me, panic was written all over her face. Peter held a gun up to Emma's head and without thinking I kicked him in the back sending his crashing to the floor. The gun flew from his hands which Emma grabbed and held up, pointing at Peter. Is she actually gonna shoot him?! I thought.
The front door to the house we were in suddenly crashed open and the thudding of footsteps filled the whole of downstairs.
"Emma we gotta go!" I whispered. She nodded towards the window.
"I'll see you out there." She mumbled, her eyes fixated on Peter who was cowering on the floor. Just as I smashed the window I heard Emma say to Peter: "it's game over Peter." She growled.
"Oh goody gumdrops babe!" He cackled.
"Nobody calls me babe!" She screamed. In one moment, the gunshot sounded and I dropped from the window sill followed by Emma.
