Emma's POV.
We ran. Faster than we ever had done before. My breath hitched and I was soon gasping for breath but I couldn't stop. I sprinted behind Hiccup, not daring to look behind us.

I just killed someone...

"Emma! Faster!" Hiccup yelled. I pushed forward, my muscles screaming for a break. Get to Jack. I reminded myself.
Soon enough the mall was visible over the horizon. We continued running for our lives until we were safely locked inside.
"Jack!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. There was a sickening silence.
"Oh no..." Hiccup whispered. Then I realised what he was looking at. Merida's bow. "No no no no no no!" He cried as he tentatively picked up the bow.
"They must've known we were here!" I exclaimed.
"Search around for anyone." Hiccup mumbled. I nodded before sprinting up the old escalators taking the steps two at a time.

Immediately, I made my way to the bed department aka our bedrooms.
"Jack?! Rapunzel?! Jim?!" I cried out. Silence again. I walked in further only to find Ariel's rotting corpse where I last saw it. I had to be quick before she turned.
I scouted around some more before settling down on Jack and Rapunzel's bed. Then I couldn't hold it in anymore, not tears began spilling down my face. Has Belle and the Beast finally captured the others? Did they beat us here? I internally screamed. Suddenly, I felt someone touch my shoulder and in that split second of me spinning around I was ready to kill.
"Whoa?! Calm down!" It was Jack! He raised his hands in defence and stepped back a bit.
"YOU IDIOT! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" I screamed at him. I began pummelling my fists into his chest in frustration before wrapping my arms around him tightly.
"I've got you Ems don't worry." He whispered softly as I sobbed into his chest.
"Where...are the others?" I croaked. Jack gulped loudly.
"Belle and the Beast, they ambushed us not to long ago, just after you and Hiccup left. T-they took the others but I escaped." Jack explained. "Where's Hiccup?" He asked looking around.
"Down stairs...Jack...I um..."I stuttered.
"What is it?" He asked, staring at me with concern.
"I sh-shot P-Peter." I whispered. My brother was quite for a moment before he finally spoke.
"Well I'll be dammed! My lil sis is growing up!" He chuckled.
"It's not funny! But he did deserve it." I giggled.
"Come on let's get Hiccup and find these assholes!" Jack cheered. I laughed lightly before following him downstairs.

Hiccup was still kneeling on the floor when we got back to him but his expression had changed from despair to utter terror.
"Hiccup, what's wrong?" Jack asked worriedly as we approached him. Hiccup glanced up at us and handed us a piece of paper with a note scribbled on.
"It was with Merida's bow." He whispered in fear. Jack began to read out the note.
"48 hours that's all you have until Jim, Merida and Rapunzel die, for all you know one could be dead now...a life for a life eh? Expect the unexpected because I bet you didn't know you had a traitor travelling with you." Jack gulped once he finished.
"Fuck." I muttered.
"What do we do?!" Hiccup cried.
"We have to get them back!" I croaked.
"We will don't worry and this traitor will pay for what they have done!" Jack sneered.
