Emilia E.

I smirked at the overly-confident male in front of me, obviously sizing him up and admiring his physique. Once my eyes trailed up to his face I noticed his had wandered and settled upon my hips, which were round and plump in the liquid , knee length dress I had chosen once receiving a call from a manager of one of my many restaurants/exclusive clubs. The call certainly surprised me right in the middle of a very important interview for a pair of members. I shook the thought off and stared at him until his eyes refocused. I stood silently, waiting for him to acknowledge me and then complete his task in following me to Aspen. Even though I offered, it wasn't a likely possibility in my mind that something so trivial to most men would warrant an entire trip. How many men would fly across the country to apologize for knocking into a woman. It doesn't matter how enticing that woman was, or how admirable. I allowed a half smile to grace my lips at the thought of this masculine and macho man on his hands and knees begging for my forgiveness. The idea held an immense amount of appeal & as his cologne drifted to my nose I slightly unfocused. He cleared his throat, bringing my attention back to him and the matter at hand

"Look, Emilia...."

He started and I cut him off with both a glare and a raised index finger.

"Miss.Edwards would be more appropriate don't you think Mr. Marcs?"

I spoke quickly, my tone making it known that my question wasn't a question nor a demand.

His lips tilted upward a fraction and he continued on "I see no reason for the formalities, please call me Valentin. Anyway as I was saying, I emailed you several days ago and I think there's been some miscommunication between the two of us."

I motioned for him to continue with a flick of my wrist.

So he did. Much to my chargin I was surprised to find out he expected an apology from me, as if I would accept blame for an issue that I was not at fault for.

My eyebrows raised yet he continued "I felt it was my duty as the superior gender to enlighten you. It is after all a mans job to guide women through their numerous troubles & misconceptions."

I took a solitary step toward him and chuckled under my breath, slipping into a mode I felt better suited for this occasion. I looked up at him underneath my thick lashes, grateful I came out immaculate as usual and began to speak in a low seductive tone that most men find unsettling in public.

"You assume incorrectly love, although I'd love to clear up the misconception between us if you'd like to discuss it further elsewhere?"

He adjusted his tie and looked around, visibly uncomfortable with loosing the upper hand.

"Maybe we can take this somewhere a bit more private?"

I smirked and spun on my heel, beckoning him after me

"Follow me then Valentin. I know just the place"
