He had woken up on edge. Why? Who knew. Maybe he just didn't sleep well. Then again, maybe he just didn't want to go to the studio.

"Where the fuck are all the cups?" He shouted, slamming the cabinet shut.

"In the dishwasher, Cal. They needed cleaned." I sighed.

He grumbles a low thanks and pulled the dishwasher open, grabbing a mug and smacking it onto the cabinet. He filled it with coffee and sipped it without adding anything. The only days he drank black coffee were the bad ones. I nodded solemnly and sipped a small bit of water.

"Are you okay?" I asks quietly, thoroughly concerned.

"Fine." He said through his teeth. I turned away and quietly walked to the living too. Before long, Cal joined me. He started writing furiously in his notebook, scrawling things put in short bursts. He must have sighed and pulled at his hair at least ten times in 5 minutes.

I bit my lip and looked over. He had his eyebrows furrowed. He looked as if he wanted to kill the damn paper. I sighed yet again and pulled the pen from his hand.

"Can you stop? I need to get this done!" He shouted. I took his fav in my hands gently, trying to get him to calm down.

"Please dont yell at me. Just relax and breathe. Lay down on your belly."

"Babe-"

"Just do it." I ordered. He knew I was serious, because I was usually lighthearted. Once he was on his stomach, I straddled his lower back. He wasn't wearing a shirt, so I started rubbing the knots out of his back and shoulders. He groaned as my cool hands worked his skin. He was relaxed by the time I was done. I pressed a kiss to his shoulder then got up.

"Thank you." He whispered. Nodding, I kissed his lips quickly and helped him finish his writing.
