It was a cold, autumn morning when you found yourself leaning against a large, barren, and gnarled tree on the outskirts of the local park. You were waiting for your boyfriend, Calum Hood, to arrive. You've been standing outside for quite a while so you were freezing to the core, violently shivering and clinging your jacket to yourself.
Just as you were about to give up and go warm up in the coffee shop down the street for a couple of minutes, you could hear the steady sound of leaves crunching growing louder and louder and before you could help it you felt a smile spread on your lips.
Turning around, you felt your smile drop into a confused frown as you stared at the tall man walking up to you, a stranger you had never seen before.
Finally, he came to a stop several feet away from you and started rocking back and forth on his feet with his hands shoved deep in his coat pockets before breathing out a confident, "Hello."
"Hi," you said shyly as you avoided his gaze and stared at your shoes.
You were never very good at talking to strangers and this was no exception.
"Beautiful day out isn't it?" he asked nonchalantly with his hazel eyes on you.
"It's actually a bit too cold for my liking," you commented quietly.
His eyes shot up in amusement at your answer and the corners of his lips were dancing in a small grin as he replied, "If it's so cold then why are you standing out here?"
