Just a Letter

You have brought a sense of hope when I felt like there was no such thing that existed in this wretched world. The endless love, warmth, and light you spread is like being in the arms of the one you care for most. For so much darkness, you shine brighter than I have ever saw. It seems as if, your love is immortal. Fighting the demons one by one, day by day, holding on to what is left of who you are. You leave a burning image in the eyes of all you come across. That image burning as if there is never enough water to put it out. All the times when death has had you in his greedy, torturing hands, here you are. All the times you flickered the lighter, to light up your beautiful release, to just forget in that moment, here you are. You are the hand that reaches down when someone is slowly losing their grip, slipping into the terrifying abyss of the lovely world of depression. You were the person to remind me that there is so much more than just fear in this world. You inspire me in a multiple of ways. I can never truly express the beautiful melody you give off as you go through life. Words can not form to show how much I truly care for you. From the touches you lay upon my skin, to the laughs, tears and anger shared between us, you are the definition of perfect in my eyes. Whether you take these words as words of love or as a beautiful reminder of a true friendship, just know I mean every word I write. I promise you my love. There are still so many thoughts up spoken, if they ever dare to leave my lips, the world may never know. What I do know is that you are here, I am here, through everything. Standing together.
