The building showed no sign it had ever been used in less than thirty years. A large chunk of plaster had fallen from the ceiling, crushing several chairs. One of the students, who was clearly choking, ran up to Luke. "Stop... from doing...to earth....
He collapsed on the floor, for reasons unclear.
Utterly terrified, Luke ran out the buildings steel door, never to see the place again.
When Luke finally escaped, he never thought he'd see what he saw that day.
Everybody seemed to be cold, and motionless. All the power had gone out completely, and large chunks of buildings had collapsed, and fallen to the ground.
When Luke finally managed to reach his house, nothing was the same. His father wasn't waiting for him a the door, like usual, with a newspaper in one one hand, and the dog in the other. His mom, and her cooking were nowhere to be seen. It seemed his whole family had disappeared.
When he entered the living room, three soda cans were sitting at the coffee table, and the TV was still on. Earlier today". said the reporter."A toxic gas was sent into the air, followed by an earthquake". The workers at Dust Industries, our main culprits, claim the gas was meant to help the environment, not to make the problem worse. Several schools in Albany...
Just then, the screen went static, and the last thing Luke remembered, was hitting his cold stone floor.
