When Luke awoke, he appeared to be in some sort of run-down hospital. Torn up sheets were lying on the bed, next to chipped picture of earth in the 2050's. Next to the bed, stood a tall, thin man, who was as dreary as the room itself. He talked to Luke, in a cold, hoarse voice.
"It's you people who are ruining the environment". How could one generation be so selfish"?
He started to smash the furniture, in his rampage. As he tore the painting off the wall, he threw it at Luke, and he felt the glass pierce his skin, and send him unconscious.
.......
When Luke woke up, he was in a cornfield, in what seemed to be about 70 years ago. An old abandoned house was sitting near the corn. Though it hadn't been used for years, Luke could still smell a stove burning in the kitchen. As he got closer to the house, the smell became more obvious, and it became more difficult to breath. When he got close enough, he yanked open the stove, and it exploded, destroying the property, and sending Luke unconscious (again).
.....
When Luke awoke once more, he found himself inside an old Junior high from the 2040's Two men in construction suits were urging everyone out of the building. Everyone out". they said. The radiation is too much to handle".
Luke wanted to leave himself, but he couldn't move his legs. And when he tried to speak his voice was no higher than a whisper. From a distance, Luke could smell something seemingly strange.
........
At that instance, Luke truly woke up. A boy was standing by his bedside.
"I can help you escape".
