Chapter 21- Cousins and Friends

Happy Halloween Still!

Percy's P.O.V

I smiled as I saw my little cousin, Death Breath. "Hey Death Breath, how are you?"

That was when he saw me and made his way over. That was when he started to punch me, "Ow Nico what's the hitting for?"

"I thought you left." He said with some tears in his eyes. I'm dumb, I didn't tell him where I was going and he thinks I left like Bianca. At that moment I pulled him into a hug of comfort.

His tears forgotten as he held me tightly. I let go of him when I knew he was ok. I turned to the Avengers looking at what just happened, "Avengers, this is my little cousin Nico." I saw ruffling Nico's hair.

While he tried to fix it he spoke, "Technically, I'm older."

"Technically you're younger than me."

"I'm older." He once spoke again, I thought of something that would make me say I'm older, "Fine, then take care of me." I smirked as his face dropped.

"You're older." He said with wide eyes as I did a victory dance, inside my head of course.

That was when our attention went back to the team, "How is he older?" Steve asked while thinking.

I smirked, "You're not the only one out of time Cap." I said while everyone's face drops.

Nico spoke to help with the confusion, "My sister and I were put into a hotel that doesn't really allow you to age, for me I thought it was a month when in reality it was...about 70ish years.

"Do you remember your time back then?" Bruce asked

"Nah my dad took my memories." Nico responded a little hatred in his voice, I knew he wanted to remember, remember what his mother looked like and his childhood.

"You said your sister was there too, where is she?" Natasha asked with her eyes analyzing him.

His smile drops while I put a hand on his shoulder and say, "Where's Pinecone Face Nicky?"

He frown turns into a deeper frown when I called him Nicky, "Don't call me Nicky, and Thalia should be here with the hunt tomorrow."

"Ok Nicky."

His frown turns up a tiny, tiny bit, then he punched my shoulder and left to most likely lay with the dead.

I turn back to the team, clapping my hands, once, "Ok, I have to get ready for school tomorrow ok?"

"Yes you do." Tony said while everyone nodded their agreement.

I looked at the watch/shield Tyson made me, it was 3 P.M. "Just let me notify Chiron then we can head out." They nod while I look for my favorite Centaur.

Once I found him by the rockwall we talked, "The Avengers and I are going back to the tower and will be back after school tomorrow, ok?"

"Sure Percy, be careful." He said with worry in his eyes. "Don't worry Chiron, I'll be back tomorrow!" I shouted running back to the Avengers to head home.

We got into the car and started to head home. Once home I got out my phone and text Peter and the gang.

"Wanna hang out? Pizza?" I texted.

"Sure." Was pretty much everyone's reply

I left after telling my uncle and friends where I was going. I got to the pizza shop on time and saw them already sitting.

I made my way over there only to get pelted with straw wrapper blown by the boys. We all laughed as I picked them back up and set them on the table. Ava and MJ rolled their eyes when the boys pelted me.

"Sup guys." I said

"Hey Perce." Sam replied still looking at the menu.

"We have a test in science tomorrow." Ava said with, somehow, glee in her voice.

Everyone but Ava and Peter said, "Ugh."

While I then spoke, "I'm going to do bad." In science we are learning about the chemical formulas and how to put them in equations and stuff.

"Why?" Peter asked, "Didn't you study?"

"Still going to fail even though I study." Said while not looking excited.

"Why?" Harry spoke

"I have Dyslexia, kinda makes things hard for me." I spoke, realizing I never told them that or that I have ADHD.

"Oh." Harry said looking a bit pity at me.

"Don't worry about it, I've lived with it for a while. Don't need pity." I spoke to them.

"Do you have anything else?" Ava asked while looking at my hand that was taping on my leg from boredom, from waiting for our pizza's to come.

"Yeah, ADHD."

"Well, that sucks." Luke said while I shrugged my shoulders in reply.

Then our pizza's came, Ava, Peter, Sam, and Luke all had Pepperoni while the rest of us had cheese.

It was quiet for a while, enjoying our pizza.

"I just realized something, do you have any other family members?" Danny asked

"Yeah, I have four cousins, Jason, Thalia, Hazel and Nico. Don't see them all that often though."

"Why's that?" Ava asked

"Well we go our separate ways during the winter while we really only see each other during summer, even then it's still hard to see each other." I said it like it was nothing big.

"Anyway, what have you guys done this weekend?" I asked them

"Nothing really, hanging out and was about." Peter said drinking his smoothie he also got while eating a piece of pizza.

"Cool, I didn't do that much too." I responded

"Really, I would've thought living with the Avengers, you'd have more entertainment." Danny said

"Not really." If you count having a meeting with the gods, going back to camp, etc...

Time Skip to next day

My first thought leaving Science class was, 'FREEDOM!' the test was horrible. But, I tried my best. I got my skate-board from my locker and went outside, Science was my last class for school and I was now heading home.

I started to ride my skateboard, even though I have enough money to take a cab and stuff I didn't feel like it. Instead I felt like going to the skate-park close by. I started to do tricks and other things that I learned when I was younger and before I found out I was a demigod.

I got really bored and finally made my way home. I left school around 2 and it was 3 now. Wow, time flew by. I walked into the tower and went to my room, upon entering I set my skateboard down and made my way back to the team to head back to camp.
