CHapter 24- The Explosion

Percy's P.O.V

Looking around and it was bad. There was junk...well it is abandoned. I looked around and saw what I was looking for the titan himself and her.

"What a nice day isn't it Annabitch and Coeus hmm." I said looking at them. Annabeth just smirks while Coeus looks evil.

"Let the games begin shall we, first round Annabeth verse Percy. Fight to the death." Coeus said and Annabeth whirled to face him.

"That wasn't the deal!" She shouted at the titan. While I was listening and slowly put my hand in my pocket where my sword was in case Annabeth did try to trick me, I was ready.

"You fight now." Coeus said as he grabbed Annabeth by the neck and flung her over near me. I pulled out Riptide and uncapped it, it roaring to life and ready for battle.

Annabeth looked at Coeus then back at me, shrugged her shoulders and got out her dagger.

I know lots of Annabeth's moves and she knows some of mine. But I'm son of Poseidon and the sea can't be tamed making it unpredictable. No matter how long she has known me, I could always deceive and get the drop on her.

I wasn't going to kill Annabeth, no. I'm not like that but I will hand Annabeth to the gods to punish Coeus will have what's coming.

As I fought Annabeth she kept getting slashes on her arms and legs and some on her torso. I didn't have a single hit on me and I could tell she hated that.

With one finale move I jumped over her making her turn before kicking her in the head, effectively knocking her out. I put her in shackles that the gods can't break thru.

I turned the Coeus who didn't look happy but at the same time expected that to happen. He was shaking his head a bit and tsked at the knocked out Annabitch.

I readied my sword and waited for him to charge as he pulled out his. I had a plan but a really stupid suicidal plan.

As we fought I was ducking, jumping, slashing, punching, [Enter more badass moves] until he did something I was hoping for.

You see the gods and I had a small talk and they said Coeus wanted me for the power I contained. Weird he wanted to drain me of it all.

As he held me so I couldn't escape he didn't notice what I was doing. I had Riptide in pen form in my hand and was about to do my stupid plan that the titan of intelligence wouldn't expect.

As he was sucking some of my power I thought, why the hell not, and started to help give him power he was smirking for a bit and mocking me about giving up. But my plan was that if I give him to much power he might go humpty dumpty on me and crack until he died..

I uncapped Riptide and stabbed it into the ground it was hard but I started to cause an earthquake giving me more power. Then feeling the water around us I made sure his hand stuck onto mine.

He was struggling as he figured out my plan, "You want to die, unhand me you fool. If you keep this up you'll die." he exclaimed

I opened my blurry eyes and looked at him in the eyes, "And you'll go with me." I started pushing more and more power as I started to feel really weak.

As I was about to lose consciousness I heard him screaming in pain then, like a balloon popped, it went SHZOOM.

After that the whole place blew up, everything in a couple miles. Just blown up and me in the middle of the giant crater.

I felt my blood underneath me, struggling to keep my eyes open for one last look at the sky I heard some zooming and shouting and what looked to be some people I knew but couldn't place.

"Percy stay with us." A man with glasses and a lab coat said. But it was to late and I was really tired. I closed my eyes and saw darkness but at the same time fighting it...
