Tomorrow is finally our graduation, I'm really excited about it. It is what I had been waiting for a very long time. While on the other side, its been a week since the day I met the Jerk and its been a week when I decided not to ever see him again. I'm now fixing my stuffs when someone knocked at the door.
"Come in" i answered while fixing my books
"Hey Rean, do you have medicine for menstrual cramps? and also tampons?" Sasha asked while holding her tummy. Sasha has an irregular menstrual cycle while me on the other side doubles so she usually asks for tampons or sanitary pads when she has her period because she knows I always have stocks.
"Wait, I'll get them" I stood up to get some of it at the closet near my bed. When I opened the closet and looked at the tampons and sanitary pads, its just then when I realized that some of it were not opened yet. I haven't had my period yet? Maybe I'm just stress
"What's wrong?" Sasha asked.
"Nothing" I answered and handed her the items
Graduation Day
This is it! After the hardworks that we have done, we are now finally graduating. I can't believe it! I could still remember the first day I entered college, the things i have done but now I am here wearing my toga and very excited to walk to the stage and get my diploma as a degree holder. this is really an achievement for me, things are going good and accurately to my plans. My parents are on the back alongside with the other parents witnessing the accomplishment of the graduate students. I looked at the back and saw Sasha's eyes starting to get wet with tears. Sasha is my bestfriend since I was a kid, we both decided to be on the same university and take things together.
When the Summa Cum Laude is done with his speech, each graduate students are called for their diplomas. This is it! Once my name is called, I immediately stood up, straightened my toga and walked carefully towards the stage. I'm a little but clumsy so I really need to be careful, Don't blame me, blame the feet. As I walked towards the director, he handed me my diploma and shook my right hand. My smile went full and it really shows how happy I am today. This is everything I worked for, I'm finally going to be a teacher.
When the graduation is finished, all of the graduate students threw their graduation caps in the air and that includes me. Sasha walked towards me and hugged me so tight. "We made it!" she yelled with glee and I smiled at her. Then our families appeared on our side.
"Congrats Rean" my mom congratulated me and hugged me tight
"Thank you, mom" I said and hugged her back
"I'm so proud of you kid" my dad said and tapped my head
"Thanks dad" and i hugged him so tight. Don't be shocked, I'm a daddy's girl
While my older three brothers Brayden, Clayton and Drakken handed me their gift
"What is this?" I asked with a grin
"a bomb" Drakken joked
"Really, that's cool?" I said drastically and punched his tummy
When I opened, its an Apple MacPro
"What the fudge!" I screamed, I can't believe it
"We've been saving for it. Be thankful that we all got jobs" Clayton said
"Thank you so much big brothers" I said with tears starting to wet my eyes
"You're welcome baby girl" Brayden said and gave me a group hug.
After Graduation: Dinner with Family
My family and I are having a dinner when a familiar guy walked in inside the restaurant with a tall blonde girl wrapped on his arms. I stared at them until my eyes locked on the guy, Its the Jerk. He stared at me back and gave me a devilisg smirk like he wanted to tell me that look at my very hot model girlfriend. I rolled my eyes and focused myself on the plate.
"Are you okay?" my mom asked and the put her left hand at my back
"Yes, I am" I lied, I don't really know but I feel mad to what I had seen.
"You seem off, sweetheart"
"I'm fine, I just need to go to the powder room" I muttered and stood up from my seat.
I went straight to the powder room and closed the door immediately. I walked towards the sink and flattened my hands on it, I stared at the mirror to see my reflection. I look different, like its not me whom I'm looking at. I turned on the faucet and water came streaming. I scalloped the water with my hands and splash it to my face. What is happening to me? I'm feeling a little bit emotional these past few days which is not really my thing. Being emotional does not really describe my personality at all.
I looked at my reflection and saw a girl with dripping water from her face, she looks stress and sad. This is not right! Its my graduation celebration, I'm suppose to be happy. I grabbed some tissue and wiped my face when someone came inside. Its the blonde girl whom I saw with the Jerk a while ago. She looked at me and gave me a flirty smile, she walked straight to the sink and put her bag on top of it. She put out some make ups to retouch while me on the other side stands there like a statue. It took me a few seconds until my mind came back to where it supposed to be, I decided to go back to our table and celebrate my achievement with family.
