'Can you stop doing that?' Lucy ask.
Rydell: *smiles* the what?
Lucy: You're not getting away from me with the innocent look, Chace. Yung pagpasok mo po na nagdadabog. The maids are scared and are talking about that nonstop. At pag hindi mo pa daw po tinigilan, irereport ka na kay Papa at hindi ka na po makakapasok pa ulit dito.
Rydell: Ooooh scary. So the maids are scared huh. Best to do it again. *Lucy shakes her head*

Rydell: Hindi ko ba makukuha yung kwento ko? Umabsent pa ko oh.
Lucy: Sus If I know, umabsent ka po kasi nalaman mo ahead of time na absent po ako ngayon. *smirks*
Rydell: Whatever fulls your ego, Luce. So? I'm waiting.
Lucy: Okay.
Rydell: But first of all, I want to say I'm sorry. I didn't get there in time, heck I didnt even go there! I'm sorry kasi when you --- *startled*
Lucy: Chace. Chace. *holds face, forcing him to look her at the eye* Its okay. You dont need to do that. Its alright. I am alright. You dont need to say sorry or even feel sorry. Its perfectly fine. Okay? Stop saying sorry and feeling sorry. Its not your fault. *emphazising each word* It is not your fault. It is never your fault. And you know that.
Naramdaman ni Rydell na sa bandang huli, pangkalahatan na yung tinutukoy ni Lucy.
Totoo bang hindi niya yun kasalanan? How can he not blame himself kung siya lang naman ang masisisi?
It is in human nature to blame someone for someone's else fault.
Sensing that Rydell will not talk for a while Lucy started her story.
'Nagkasalisihan po tayo. Pagkadating ko po sa auditorium, nakita ko po si Rob. At first it was all good. But when I started to say no, he gripped my hand. At sumigaw po siya. May dalawa pong lalaking lumabas. Para daw po hindi na ko makawala, nagdala na po siya ng kasamahan. Hiniga po nila ko ng sapilitan kung hindi gagapusin daw po nila ako. Pagkahiga ko po may nilagay po na upuan over sakin at dun po naupo si Rob. After that, sinabi po nila kung anong plano nila. Many minutes passed. Nagbukas po yung ilaw. Umakyat po si Rob at yung isang guy to check the switch. At naiwan po yung isa para bantayan ako. Ang narinig ko na lang po ay may sumigaw ng Andrei tapos alien language. Bumalik po ng tingin yung kasama ni Rob, nanlaki po yung mata kasi wala na yung nagbabantay sakin. Pumunta po ako kay Eleecia to help her, position ready to attack. And ran towards her. *smiles* hindi na nga po kinailangan ng tulong ni Eleecia kasi po bagsak na si guy pagkadating ko. May nagsalita gamit sa speaker and threatened Rob and the other guys. Sumuko na po nun si Rob pati yung isa. Pero the other guy, yung guy po na binalibag ni Eleecia, ayaw po ata magpaawat. Naglabas ng baril. Kinuha si Eleecia. And pulled the trigger.'
Rydell: May nangyare ba sa dalawa? Kay Eleecia?
Lucy: It turns out na walang bala po yung baril, inamin po ni Rob na panakot lang daw po ito at hindi nila inaakala na hahantong sa ganun. Yung bumaril po ay yung isa sa mga SWAT na andoon. Nevertheless, dinala pa din po si Eleecia sa hospital to check her condition. Nawalan po kasi siya ng malay pagkabaril at akala po namin na nabaril siya. It turns out na sinasakal na pala siya at hindi na siya makahinga sa sobrang higpit.
Rydell: And you? Nasaktan ka ba? Sinaktan ka ba nila?
Lucy: Just scratches. Nothing to worry about. Easy to fix.
Rydell: Anything else to say or add?
Lucy: Yeah. They're kinda my friends.
Rydell: *quietly* I know.
Lucy: But you're still my bestfriend *hugs*
Rydell: *hugs back* And you're still my bestfriend.
Rydell: *kumalas na* But first. We've got to say what happened to your father.
Lucy: Already did. He. Uhm. Whatever I say dont be mad or be rash.
Rydell: What did he say, Luce?
Wow. I think the temperature just dropped to -10°. Isip ni Lucy.
Lucy: Nothing. He said nothing. Of course, the board notified all the student's parents involved. Ang kaso lang, wala po syang ginawa nor sinabi.
Rydell: What kind of father is that? What kind of parent is he? *getting mad*
Lucy: *laughs* Dad. Its alright. I have you naman po para pagalitan ako and so many things.
Rydell: Dont call me that.
Lucy: You're acting like one. *shrugs*
Lucy: Before I forgot, I stayed at Eleecia's place nung weekends. Para bantayan yung mga kapatid niya.
Rydell: *nods* Okay na nga pala si Prim. Bisita ka daw ulit sa kanya. Nagtatanong siya kung kelan ka ba daw free?
Lucy: Later. *smiles* Let's visit her.

CAFETERIA
Magkakasama sina Lucy, Isha at Andrei sa table.

Rydell: Wala naman toh sa agreement natin ah?
Lucy: Ha? I dont get you.
Rydell: When you say they're your friends, I didnt know na kasama yung pagsshare ng table tuwing lunchtime.
Lucy: Oh Chace. Grow up. Nung magkaibigan po tayo, didn't we share everything? Except used straws and utensils.
Rydell: What more do I have to know?
Lucy: I maybe spend more time with them.
Rydell: What?!?!
Lucy: Yes. And I know you know Jace. *threatening voice* And you gotta keep up with me if you're still going to be my bestfriend.
Rydell: Are you threatening me? And how did you know about Andrei?
Lucy: See. Only bestfriends call Jace by his 2nd name and you casually said his name. And I have my sources *winks*
Rydell: Now I'm gonna beat up your sources *looks straight at Mickey*
Lucy: You are not going to do that! At pano mo naman po nalaman na kay Mickey ko nakuha yun? Hindi mo po ba naisip na uso ang background check pagdating sa families natin?
Rydell: YOU DID WHAT?!?!? NOW I'M MAD.
Lucy: Huminahon ka nga po. I did not do any background check on you! You are just that obvious kanina.
Rydell: *stares* Are you sure?
Lucy: *stares back* I am sure and YOU *turo* need to fix all your issues.
Rydell: I will. If you do too. And I'll tell it when its the right time.
Lucy: I will too. Now let's get back. *mutters quietly* before Jace notices anything between us. I dont want him to misunderstand.
Lumakad na sila papunta but not before Rydell whispered at Lucy's ear:
'I heard that.' And boy, did Lucy blushed like a tomato.
