"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be."
― Shel Silverstein

Ouch... Every portion of my being hurts. That was the first clear thing that I remembered after that hurricane. The past few hours when I am unconscious had been a blur of thoughts. A freefall basically with ideas and scenes flashing through your mind giving you enough time to get a glimpse of it but impossible to catch or understand. And then I remembered the fantastically, electrifying-ly, shockingly storm. Boom! There goes my sweet innocence ad i was dragged into the world of the living and outrageous. Before I knew what I actually was about to do,  I sprang upright on a soft mattress and look around. Wait what!? Look around!? Eyes? I blinked. Wait WHAT!? I JUST BLINKED!? I waved my hands in front of my eyes thinking I may be hallucinating. But... My eyes work perfectly and my hands seems to follow what I want it too. Wow. Just wow. This must be how it feel to have a full physical self. Wow.

It took me a few  moments to realise that I was still lying or rather sitting on a soft and hastily setup makeshift bed. I tried to get off but I winced. My whole body felt stiff and rigid and my head spun. And of course to top it all, my limps still tingle from that lightning. Just then, a middle aged young man in a coat hurried to my side.

"Oh hey, my name is Dr Jefferson. Are you alright? That was one hell of a hurricane all right. It was a miracle you pull through that coma. May I know your name?" The young man, Doctor Jefferson, introduced himself while pouring for me a cup of water.

"Thanks, I am..." I hesitated before speaking a part truth," Adventus, Felling Adventus." Hopefully that will sufficed."Where am I by the way?"

"You don't remember where you were before that hurricane swept past?" Dr Jefferson seemed to have bought my little lie.

"Humour me."

"Alright..." He sighed," Kansas city to be exact and this the Red Cross disaster relief. You were found slightly less than 1 kilometre away from here so you should consider yourself lucky that you survive. Many... Are still missing and well much tragedies had happened." He glanced quickly in the direction of another man who stared at the ceiling blankly, pupils dilated apparently lost in fervent thoughts.

"I should leave you for now. I have to check on other victims as well. See you around and try not to leave your bed too much ok?" He asked with an accusing tone as he stared pointedly at my foot which was already on the ground. I immediately swung my legs back off the floor and simply nodded before waving him off. I sighed and tried to stood up. I am a god so really, I don't really care what the doctor say though I appreciate him taking some time to talk to me. I stumbled my way to the stunned man and sat down heavily beside him. "Hey," I asked," you alright here?"

He lifted his head and stared at me. In a moment of eye contact, I saw his fears reflected in the watery orbs. The black as midnight pupil surrounded by redness and his hurt was written clearly as day in his eyes. This was a man who suffered much and benefit little, I thought to myself. I was surprised at that thought. It just simply appeared out from nowhere.

"Did... Did you find her?"the man rasped, his dull tone resonated into my bones making me shiver.

" Umm... Who?" I asked before realising that it was an idiotic question.
