[A/N: I am laughing so hard right now. I was reading my various textbooks when I just fell asleep for no reasons and had a dream which was exactly the main thing I need since I am having writer's block. So this chapter will be about my dream with more original ideas in it. I hope you will find it funny XD. And by the way, can anyone please slap me if I am dreaming or not? 300+ reads in just 8 chapters!? It seems just like a few days ago I started this... You guys are awesome and the list of shoutouts is growing. Thanks a lot guys!]
"Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful."
-Norman Vincent Peale
"Adventus, I want a word with you later." Hestia hissed as the doors of the palace swung opened and 2 birds soared out in a tandem.
I give a snort. Nothing I can't handle, I thought, rolling my eyes.
After detaching myself from certain upstart goddess, I sauntered through the crowd keeping a close eye for Poseidon. Certainly, he should not be far away, or is he? Certainly, he should be drinking nectar but he had some just now did he not? Certainly... I attracted a lot of curious attention. That is for certain. It is disturbing that many people (or is it gods and goddess or nymphs? ARGHHHH.... I give up.) are paying attention to you. But you cannot blame them because after all, I had miss a couple *cough, cough* of anniversaries. Don't worry, Hera probably will not murder me. Probably.
I spotted Poseidon a couple yards away and I make my way to him. Poseidon was having a heated talk with a woman and there was furious gesturing and lots of red faces.
"Amphitrite, believe me I did not!"
"Am I supposed to believe that?"
"Really, ask... Ask..." Poseidon saw me at the perfect moment and I had a doomsday moment," ask him! The one who visited us that time while you were having your afternoon tea!"
Amphitrite turned and her features softened when she caught sight of me. "Oh hello Adventus, please excuse me, I did not see you. But I am so glad you could join us today."
I nodded, tight-lipped at Poseidon.
"Adventus, ahh... A word if you would not mind-"
"Oh no you don't! I know you are going to make him say 'No' I am not THAT stupid." Amphitrite muttered.
Poseidon gave me a face that says too clearly: "Save me!"
I arched my eyebrow at him. Try harder at Charades, Poseidon.
"Amphitrite, it is a word I would like from your husband. Not his. He certainly got a very high opinion of himself." I interrupted for the sake of drawing some attention from him.
"I am sorry but I can't. I have something to settle with my loyal hubbie here. If you will excuse me."
Poseidon give me a helpless look.
I sighed and I relented.
"Very well, if it is the truth you want, truth be told, what Poseidon said, is indeed true and false at the same time."
"What do you mean?" Amphitrite gave me a startled look.
"He did have a ummm... Session with Caroline but not on his own free will so what he said is quite accurate you see." I replied. Poseidon make a relieved face.
"What do you mean?"
"I can't tell you more but I swear on the River Styx what I said is on my own free will and it is the truth. Poseidon did not make me say that. Now, I would like a word with you husband."
