Shelter

After I gathered us some snacks I helped my mom put together a simple shelter out of leaves. I found this banana tree and used its big leaves to build a teepee. It worked out pretty well, my mom got long sticks and some "twine" and put the sticks in the form of a teepee and after she set that up I put the leaves over it braiding the leaves to stay put.

After that me and my mom walked together to look for anything useful on the shore, we found a couple water bottles (empty), some animal skins, and such. I found a river and made a little fish trap where you cut the top off of a water bottle and turn that around where the fish can swim in but can't get out if there are any small fishes in that river we should get some catches.

I saw some flint In a rock  and decided to grab the Rock and see if I can use it to start a fire, I don't know yet if there are people on this island though so I may need to stay a little hidden.

Thinking about the rest of my family hurts I haven't seen them in a while so nothing feels the same at all, I'm stranded on and island with my mom and little supplies. What am I going to do?

Now to try to get a fire started with my knife and that flint I found.
