Preparing to leave

So now we have 6 people, me my mom, dad, sister, and two people with the coastguard.
We go back to the helicopter🚁 and we try to start it and fly towards the shore to get my belongings but the helicopter🚁 won't start. So now we are stuck on this island with a broken helicopter🚁 and a lot of water.

I'm sure the eaters of pigs will come find us pretty soon so. We travel back to my camp and we all eat a snack and attempt to make a boat. We figured we could use something off the helicopter so we went back and scavenged it being very quiet knowing that the enemy tribe lives right in front of us so we took everything useful like first aid kits and some dried food, and etc then we headed to my camp again.

We are planning on making one large raft out of logs and planks that can fit 6 people, luckily we have highly trained people from the coast guard who can make rope and fell trees good.

We are working on getting evenly sized logs and we will try to my a 10"x10" boat to hold all of us and it seems like that will work. It looks like we will make a bit larger on because of trail and error but it will be fine. And I'm thinking on adding something on the front of the boat to make the water be flowing around the boat and not pushing on it.

My mom and sister have been working skillfully on the mainsail while my dad has been working on the mast, they should have those ready before the night comes. The boat will hopefully be done by tomorrow.
