Chapter 12

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! So my life is getting busier and busier each day so I'm sorry if I don't update any of my books. I'm going to high school and well, I'm getting ready to go to high school. An I apologize for it has almost been a year since I've updated but I'm trying my best. Well chapter 12 is here so please get comfortable because this chapter will reveal all secrets of characters in this book. Get ready for the drama and enjoy. :)

"Uhh... who I like?" Cassie repeats. I look at Melissa but she doesn't look back at me. I guess it's my decision to tell them who I actually like.

"Uhhh... I like Aiden" I mumble.

"Who?" asks Matthew.

"I like Aiden." I say a bit louder.

""Ooo... Cassie likes the new kid!!" says Ethan.

"Wait til' I tell him." Matthew says while getting up.

"NO! You CAN'T tell him! Remember? Everything stays in here." I say basically screaming it out.

"Fine." he replies.

Later on after the sauna, we eat lunch then we do more activities. While eating lunch, I take a glance at Aiden here and there and so does he. I always smile when we pretend that we were just looking at something else.

"Cassie? Why aren't you eating that much?" Tanvi says.

"Uhh... I jus-" I get cut off when Mia speaks up.

"Who cares?! More food for us." Everyone gives her the death stare while I just look down and smile.

Everyone just looks at Aiden. They see him glancing at me. Everyone just makes hearts with there hands and then point at me. I look up and see everyone making hearts with there hands so I got the message and looked at him. As soon as he saw me looking at him he looks away. He looks at me in the corner of my eye and I don't look away. I smile.

"Okay everyone! In just a little while, we're going to go to the bridge that leads to the little island next to shore!" screams Nate. "Lunch is over. Now dress warm and start heading to the bridge."

Everyone gets up and pushes through to get to there cabins. As I push though others I bump into Aiden.

"Oh uh... sorry." I say.

"It's okay." he replies.

Ughh... that was so awkward! I finally get to my cabin and everyone is basically ready. I get ready as quick as I can and catch up to the others. It's now sundown. As we get to the island, we sit in these benches made out of wood. There are three columns. I sit at the front and guess who's sitting behind me..? Aiden!

I look back and smile at him. He smiles back at me too. We sing songs and then we sing a song the councillors made. There's actions and Destiny was sitting right next to me. As we were singing, Destiny went a bit crazy and accidentally smacked Aiden in the face.

*SMACK*

Everyone looks over at our direction.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry Aiden. That was an accident I swear!"

He doesn't say anything but he rubs his face. after a while, I look back and see that he's not there. He's gone! I look around and he's with his dirty friend Alex. Ughh....why sit next to him?

We sing the last song and we head back to the dining hall. We get split up by the counselors and play a little game. Since it's our last night, we played something Halloween related. It's already dark and so I get a bit scared. The objective of the game is we have to find two people who are hiding from everyone else until they find us. Quinton and Soheil are the two people who are hiding and I find them. More and more people come and Quinton won't stop complaining of much Sohiel has farmed and it smells like hell. We finish the game and everyone heads to the little shack thing near the washrooms.

"Tonight we will be talking about the history of this place." says a guy holding a little lamp. "This place is actually where World War 1 has taken place."

I trail off looking up at the stars. They were so beautiful. Aiden is just a couple people away from me. I tell my friends to look up and see the twinkling stars. I look at Aiden and he's looking up too. He then looks at me and smiles. I see him mouth out words but I just couldn't get it right.

We start to walk and follow the guy who's holding the green lamp. Oh and I forgot to tell you..... NO flashlights aloud.
I didn't really care so I kept using it until I actually got my flashlight taken away. The walk was done then we had a snack before curfew.

After snack we went to our cabins. I was just wondering, what's going to happen after this camping trip? Is anything going to change? Are there going to be any changes? So many questions filled my head until I actually fell asleep.

I wake up to the sound of my teacher waking me up.

"Okay everyone. Wake up. Pack up then take a shower. Head to the dining hall when your done." Mme Catterall says.

I just stay as I am groaning, complaining that I'm still tired. Eventually I got up. I did as I was told then headed towards the dining hall. Akayla and Destiny caught up to me halfway there and then we talked.

We ate breakfast, played a couple games, then we were heading towards our bus during the afternoon. We were leaving.

"Wait! Let's take a group picture!" cried Mme Scott.

We took so many pictures.

"Finally we're done." I mumbled.

On the way home, I still sit beside Melissa but this time we slept the whole ride. I wake up to the sound of the guys yelling.

"Jeez! Can you guys just be quiet for a little while longer?!?!" I 'scream' out.

"Five more minutes Cassie. Don't worry." Mme Catterall says.

I stay awake those five minutes. We get to school and there are parents who are already there. I didn't have to wait cause my parents were already there. I get in the car and just sit there quietly.

"So how was it?" asks my dad.

"Great!" I say trying to sound enthusiastic.

I get home and head to my room. I sleep until 7:30. I had to wake up cause I was going to a halloween thing. We play games to get candy. It's amazing..... not only because of the candy but also cause I get to see my best friend, Rowan. And I guess some my other friends too..... XD

I get ready to leave. As soon as I get to the place where it is held, I see Rowan inside through the window. I run to him and say, "Hi." I do the same to everyone else.

The Halloween thing went up til' 10. Time passed by so quick that it was already 10. I head home and just sleep. Wow. I've slept so many times. I actually didn't care cause I sleep all the time.

I sleep until Saturday morning. Waking up was delightful because I smelt pancakes and egg. I run downstairs and see a lovely table full of food....... Food!!
