The Specials 2 [ON HOLD]

LAND HO!

The ship screeched loudly to a stop as I looked outside the window.

Ms. Bee rushed in with a smile on her face. "We're here! Time for your mission!" Ms. Bee sang in a high voice. Mr. Snooks walked in right after her, saying, "Land ho, folks!" I quickly picked up the paper and threw it into the trash can before anybody could notice. Lulu looked at me with fake happiness, nudging me to do the same. I smiled widely. I put a thumbs up and grabbed my bags.

Ms. Bee flew and decked the ship to dock. I looked with worry towards Lulu, and she sighed, patting me on my shoulder.

So many things were overwhelming me. I had to save Nick. I just read a scary prophecy. I'm going to high school after skipping two years of school. I have probably the most weight on me of saving the world from this force. I have to deal with a boy at this high school. Basically, I feel like screaming my head off.... And so.... I did.

Though of course I grabbed a pillow from my bag so nobody would hear. Once Mr. Snooks had me pinned me down when training and he said I screamed so loud it could be used as a superpower.

"UGH!" I screamed into the pillow, the pillow muffling the sound. Lulu stared at me with understanding and quickly covered for me so nobody would notice what I was doing.

Ms. Bee tied the ship to dock using her flight power and brought down the pathway to land. I quickly threw the pillow back into the ship an headed out. Mr. Snooks and Ms. Bee were at the front, leading us out.

We flew for a while. I didn't even know where this school was, but I just wanted to get this over with. We landed in the middle of a huge square, which seemed very familiar to me.

My jaw dropped open. The city was a sight to see by itself. It was illuminated by colorful lights, people were busy walking on the streets. "Times Square," I breathed out. Yes, we were in New York. The school we were going to was "Cheetah High". (A/N: NOT AN ACTUAL HIGH SCHOOL IN NEW YORK. I MADE IT UP.)

A huge cheetah was on the front doors of the school. Students and teachers rushed in and out, preparing for the first day of school, which was tomorrow.

Lulu, Sebastien, and I walked in with our supplies for locker set-up. We entered the school. The hallways were huge and went on forever. I walked over to the reception and asked for my schedule and locked number and code. "Here you go!" The receptionist smiled and handed me a sheet.
"Thank you," I replied, looking down at my sheet.

My locker number was 120. 12th grade itself had 500 people, so in total the high school had 2,000 student approximately. I headed over to 120, and saw that Lulu and Sebastien had their lockers right beside mine.

We all talked as we assembled out lockers. It seemed that the school didn't get many new students, as we were the only 3 who were new in 12th grade. Of course 9th got all new students. I put my locker shelves in first and then put all my textbooks in order as per class.

After about 30 minutes, all of us were done and we started to head out of the school.

Lulu and Sebastien seemed to be engrossed into talking about a certain topic so they went ahead of me, chatting endlessly.

As I walked, I accidentally bumped into a huge, tall boy. He had blue eyes, with black hair with red streaks in it. He was wearing a biker jacket with jeans. "Watch where your going weirdo," He threatened. I just laughed. Suddenly around me everyone became nervous. The jacket guy looked down at me and narrowed his eyes. "You better watch it kid. Next thing you know, you could be passed out. Luckily you're new here, but after a week you'll know not to mess with me," He warned and pushed me to the ground. The boy walked away and everyone bowed down to him as he passed.

I scoffed and walked towards the door. A little scared girl came up to me. "You're the first one to ever act like that to Redro," She whispered. The girl was holding ten textbooks in her hands and her hands were shivering. I patted her head. "I could beat that jacket guy any day," I smirked. The girl smiled.

"I'm Lucy by the way," She introduced. "I'm Claire," I said, and we shook hands.
"See you later Claire!" Lucy said, and I waved back. I walked out of the school thinking that Lucy could be my new friend.
