Hello, it's me (Adele's new single reference)
Okay, but seriously, for those that have been following these letters and continue to look for updates, I am BACK, and I will continue writing. I came back to many sweet messages in my inbox, and it really showed me, you're helping people. And that's all I ever wanted for these little letters.
Okay, let's carry on.
For those that have lost... lost what? A contest? A loved one? A race? ANYTHING. Face this fact, because maybe you're denying it, or avoiding the situation, or you're completely aware of it and it's seriously bumming you out.
Just think, first, will this loss matter in five years?
That's easy to say if it's some essay contest at school, or maybe you lost a scholarship for college, it won't matter in a few years. It's tough but you keep studying and you keep learning about what this marvelous world has to offer. It's a beautiful place, here on earth, and it can't be the end of the world. Try again, keep going for it, don't give up, you're better than that. I believe you can overcome this loss, and you'll strive to do great things. You'll look back at this little bump in the road and laugh, because one thing you thought was the worst thing, seems so small now. You'll get through this. Be a good sport and keep your held high, maybe you can learn from the situation itself. It's never wrong to learn from a bad experience.
If that five-year-trick didn't work, because you're loss is deeper. Let's say it's a family member, trust me, those can never be easy. One time this special person is here on earth with you, then with a flash of an eye...they're gone? Forever? Life works in weird ways, my friend.
Let's take a pause for a second, to let you know, I'm here for everyone. Strangers or not, if anyone is ever at a loss of anything, my inbox is only a couple clicks away and I can better handle your situation to make you feel better. That's why I made these letters. We can benefit from each other's sad and difficult experiences. We can do this together, why should you go through anything alone?Your loss, your loved one, your friend, your sister, your parent, your guardian, your loved one. They're in a better place, it's hard to comprehend but they're not suffering. They'll face no more challenges or problems, no more pain and no more sadness.
There's no point in beating yourself up, they're not coming back, but they're watching over you. They want you to be okay, they want to see you smile. They loved your smile, and they loved your laugh. Let them know you're okay, let them see you smile, it'll make them smile. It's definitely not an easy thing to move on. How do you go from talking to someone every day to never again? Just remember, they're okay. I think that's the best advice because they nothing can ever get to them again, they're in a good place. Yes, it's hard and it's completely heartbreaking but you're still here and you still have a purpose in this life. You were made for a reason and you still have great things to do, they'll watch you from above, and trust me, they're proud, you're doing great and they couldn't be any happier with you. Make them proud, make them smile, and be happy.
You'll see them again.
As I always have said before, make requests whenever, and even ask specific questions if you'd like.
