Mark's POV
Tomorrow is graduation day, June 20th and would be one of my most memorable memories in life without a girlfriend and I'm not planning to have one because I only truly love that one girl who used me and here I am now in the hospital with her, "Hey.." I greeted as she slowly opened her eyes, "What happened, why am I here? Why are you here?" She asked curiously, I wanted to reply 'You collapsed, so I hurriedly called an ambulance and go with you and I'm here because I truly care and love you.' , but instead I replied, "You passed out and an ambulance came so I just came here because your friends are in now in the middle of detention because they hit you with a frying pan from the Home Economics Room which caused you to passed out."
"Oh..I see..so they really don't like me.."
"Probably not, when they saw their faces in TV looking very bad and I told them that it was your doing."
"Why did you tell them?"
"Because it would be a lie not to tell them the truth."
"But why you?? Why did they not asked other boys??"
"That's because you're the only one who is a star and I'm your ex, so it wouldn't be surprising they would come to me and ask these questions."
"I see.." She nodded and a doctor came gave her a few painkillers and also didn't forget to check her up especially that there are no damages in and out of her head. "You're ready to go now, Ms. Carson and would you please sign this paper, it's for my daughter, she really loves and adores you very much." he pleaded and she did what he wanted.
"Thank you, Thompson."
"Your welcome" I said and she walked away, I guess this is the end of it.
Amanda's POV
Acting like I have no feelings for him hurts a lot, but I must do it so I can make him think that I'm strong. Rain starts to pour down heavily again and most taxi's are full, so I had to call my manager..God, I can never learn how to be independent when I keep on needing my manager everywhere,anywhere,anytime and everytime I'm in need of help. "Hey, wanna ride with me?" he offered, "No, I'm better off with my driver." I rejected, but he grabbed me into the Taxi.
"Why did you do that?"
"Because you are stupid.."
"What?? That doesn't answer my question"
"Yeah, of course it doesn't that's because there is no answer to your question." he calmly replied, I've also gotta act strong and pretend I don't care, "Oh..is that so??" I asked, but he didn't answer, Did he notice?? I mean I am Hollywood's #1 Amazing Actress and a ordinary boy like him couldn't notice. "I'm stopping here.." I payed the driver, but before I could open the door of the cab he held my hand and said, "Tomorrow's our graduation and I'm going to be waiting for you after the ceremony at the park." I just shrugged
"I'll try my best.."
"No, be there...I'll be waiting for you."
"That depends on the discussion you want to talk with me about."
"You see..I have this girl in my mind and I can't seem to forget her, so I thought I need your help."
"Oh..!! Why didn't you say it in the first place?"
"Sorry, lol"
"Yeah, sure..I'll meet you tomorrow."
I got inside my house all wet from the rain and I had to walk from the gate to here and to my surprise I saw my aunt, "You love him, don't you?" She asked
"Of course not...for not accepting me.."
"What do you mean for not accepting you?"
"He doesn't accept my job and if he doesn't accept my job he doesn't accept me."
"You don't get it, Amanda.."
"What are you talking about?"
"Alice raised you to be an elegant, kind and proper lady and here you are now thinking about a boy..it's pretty cute.."
"Do you mean, Alice Lillian Kingston-Carson??"
"Yes, you're mother was very lady-like, I was only 15 and got bethroted to his brother and now my husband, your father married her when she was only 25. She was the kindest person of all, she went through many obstacles just so your grandmama would accept your father and later she did. You see my child, when you are in the world of love..pain and hate seemed not to exist because of all the love you have, but in love you must go through many obstacles that pain and hate have prepared for you, these two would never go away when a person keeps having negatives thoughts."
"What's your point?"
"My point is...don't give up on love..even how you feel like you want to give up, don't let the world take away your dignity."
"But what if that person I love is somebody who I can't love again due to the things that I've lied to him..shall I keep on loving him?"
"That's your choice..my dear.." She kissed my forehead and off she go. As I lay on my bed I turned on my favorite song, "Together Forever" by Carol & RJ. This is the song that me and my chilhood would sing back in 1st grade, I wonder where he is now.
Mark's POV
After the graduation ceremony, I wrote a thank you note for Mrs. Tanglewood for this enjoyable yet sad year and she came here too, "Oh..!!!"
She exclaimed, "Hi.." I greeted
"Hello..!!"
"So, we don't need to go to the park then since we're already here.. what is it you want to talk about..??"
"Actually I just came here to give you something as a remembrance." I took out the half heart-shaped necklace and her face was surprisingly red, "What is it? Don't you like it?" I asked
"N-no, I love it."
"Then, what's with your face??"
"Actually..it's nothing.."
"I'm sorry about the other half, you see there was this girl and I gave it to her the other half and she left without another word." I explained, "I-I-I s-s-see, just keep it and let's meet tomorrow at the park." She suggested.
