Chapter 10

Mark's POV

Being here in the park is lonely especially when you have no one to talk to..Finally, she's here. "I'm sorry, did I make you wait?" She apologized

"It's not a problem really.."

"Thank Goodness...wanna have some snacks and chit-chat for a bit?"

"Sure, I would love to have some hotdogs with cheese.."

"You sure look hungry..hehe" She giggled, "Of course, how could I forget that you're an animal with an upset stomach."

"You are quite right.."

And as afternoon came, I kept on talking about the girl that I used to love before and showed her the right half heart-shaped necklace and said, "I wanted to find that girl one day and if I ever do, I would marry her." And she laughed out, "You're so silly..If I was that girl I would never be lucky ....it's too bad I'm going again to Malibu and continue my job there..especially when things are getting okay between us." She sighed and took a left half heart-shaped necklace, "Isn't that?" My eyes widen, of course how could I forget?? Her innocent voice.." It seemed like you forgot, you're job is to show me all the rooms in this school as to what Mrs. Tanglewood said. " her cheerfulness, " This my friend...is a cellphone and you can browse your fb, especially you can contact people from faraway and you can keep in touch with loved ones from faraway countries. " ...

Flashback : 1st Grade

Amanda : Mark, I'm so glad you've invited me to your brother's graduation day..

Mark: It would be my pleasure..This is gonna be the school that we are gonna go when we reach highschool, right?

Amanda: Of course and we are gonna have a lot of fun. Promise?

Mark: Pinky Promise..!! Hehe

July. 9th

Amanda: My dad told me we are going far away because my mom is gonna be a star.

Mark: Can I come, Amanda?

Amanda: No you can't, because my dad said that if we don't come back..we might as well be as dead if mom will have no luck with her audition.

Mark: But I can protect you..

Amanda: You have to stay here and stay alive for me, Mark..Bye2x

End of Flashback

"Hi..!! Mark..Long time no see.." She smiled widely, "I remember now, I seemed to have forgotten that girl's name, your name rather is Amanda Carson." I hugged her so tight that she couldn't breathe. All along, the girl that I've been searching, waiting has all been here along with me, "And I too knew that Daddy didn't mean that the Thompson Companies are yours, it's a little new company in hawaii that seemed to sell hats and daddy kept on going there, so he can commercial it all, but he really holds a grudge for the company." She giggled, "I see, but I still can't believe that it's you..why did you leave me?" I asked curiously, "Daddy said that if we came back my mom would be sad because she got a BIG YES from the judges and ATFTA Inc., made her a big world-wide known star, so we had to move to Los Angeles." She explained and by the time night fell there were fireworks and I felt I am the most luckiest guy in this world.

Amanda's POV

I had brought him back to my mom's chateau that is just near mine because mine is still having a bit of a problem with the..never mind and look his so still when he is sleeping on the bed and I start to tell him a poem that I made for him before I left.

"I do not care how many stars we can't count in the starry sky, but if I look into your eyes my worries passes by.
I could describe you in a million words while I am eating a bowl of curds.
Summer heat and Winter snow are both our obstacles that we must pass.
For only God knows when our Everlasting Love would last.
I love you so much and I can express it in a million ways, but I'd rather show you how much I love you each and everyday. "

"Is that for me?" He murmured softly while his eyes are both closed.

"No..it was for you."

"It's very original and so you.."

"I made it before the graduation of your brother, but what my father said made me a little bit disappointed, so I never did give it to you." I gave him a piece of old paper and he opened it to find a beautiful blue and pink ring with a letter. He got up and we wore the rings, I got the pink and got the blue and we started to explore my mom's chateau , "Have you ever been here before?" He asked

"Just once because daddy would never allow me to come here."

"Was your mom cheating on your dad?"

"Of course not..!!"

"Then,why wouldn't he allow you to come here?"

"That's because...I never did know the reason."

"Oh.." He exclaimed, We came into the attic and we found an old chest. Mark hurriedly opened the chest and we found all sorts of treasures, jewels, but what caught my eyes is a music box and I remembered that mommy told me she would buy me a music box for my birthday,

Flashback

Alice: Now Amanda tomorrow is your birthday and I promise to give you the most beautiful music box, so when mommy comes back you'll recieve your birthday present.

Amanda: Really, mommy?

Alice: Yup..and it'll have your name on it.

Amanda: Yaay..!! Mommy, you're the best..!!

And she never did came back after my when the week was over and daddy went to the hospital, but everything was too late,She was dead on arrival, but she never did gave me the music box she promised to me. And now I found a beautiful music box with my name on it carved perfectly in elegant fonts and style and as I opened it. It played the song of mommy's piece, Memory Of Mother and inside is a letter "Constant as the stars above, Always know that you are love. " I love you mama.
