Young love, close the chapter, there's no ever after; fell fast, ended faster.
After their plane landed on Japan, they headed their hotel by their tour bus.
"So you have an interview scheduled for tomorrow morning." Esther said. "We'll be going for the last parts of this tour, and it excites me even more."
Wait.
"What? Why?" Scott asked. "It saddens me."
"Darien asked me to marry him, right? And guess what? The wedding, it's gonna be right after the tour!" She jumped up and down as Kirstie popped out then joined her.
"It's still unpredicted but I'm quite sure that it'll be after the tour or anything grand, like the album release." Esther said.
Avi was just sitting beside Mitch there and smiling, both at his phone and what his sister was saying.
Mitch was busy with his laptop. Remember his old USB? He was digging it out and found his old gems. The letters he once wrote for Kirstie after their break up and the files for his old projects; it were all there, including all of the old pictures of his old friends and old days.
He was smiling alone by himself, because even the old voice recordings of his are all there. All the old voice logs were there, it was like his throwback diary.
Until someone removed his left earphone and, "Hey Mikel." Scott's voice said at his left ear.
"What?" Mitch laughed. "It was such a long time ago since you called me by that nickname."
"Yeah right." Scott laughed a bit. "But what's that you're listening?"
Scott got Mitch's left earphone and there goes a voice recording of two people singing My Heart Will Go On. It was too obvious that the voices were Mitch's and Kirstie's. The harmony was also very present although the two young voices were laughing at each other.
Scott can't help but smile at what he was listening. "Why on earth did you break up?"
"Because." Mitch sighed and removed his right earphone. He ended the reason with because. He never wanted to say the main reason again, he never wants to go back.
As soon as Mitch removed his earphones, he heard Esther and Kirstie's loud conversation. They were laughing and talking about a bridal shower. He only looked at them as Scott sighed and just joined the two girls.
They were now chatting about wedding and love.
Mitch set aside his laptop and let it play a slideshow of his old pictures. He checked his Twitter account and grinned at how his notifications bombarded him a lot of tweets from Pentaholics. He checked them but did not have time to retweet or reply to some of them.
Then, "I wish that I could also rightfully and legally marry someone and feel what it's like to be a real bride like you." Kirstie sipped her water from her tumbler, telling these to Esther.
"You already have Jeremy." Esther said, getting a glass of water from their fridge. "Besides, he'll be asking you to marry him in the perfect time."
But Kirstie was looking at Mitch. She didn't get to say that Mitch and her should file a fake divorce as well as they fake wedded, but they didn't even have a good breakup.
"Also, I want an honest relationship." Kirstie said, loud enough to make Mitch hear it. She looked at Mitch as he looked at her also.
He wasn't affected. He swears he was never affected by what Kirstie said. He was just hurt. Now, he's affected. He cut the stare as Kirstie thought of her past relationship with Mitch.
Mitch was always honest with her, but he hid a couple of things to her. Want an example? Well, how did he turn gay when all he told her was she was his world, his always and forever?
Sure Kirstie accepted that fact, but did she?
These stupid thoughts went in Kirstie's mind as she smiled at Mitch who was looking at his laptop seriously.
Because what Mitch saw was a little bit heartbreaking.
