I got low self-esteem. She's kinda hot though. When you've got bigger plans that no one else understands, you've got a shot though.

"I'm very sorry!" The girl who spilled orange juice all over Mitch's face brought out her handkerchief.

She hurriedly wiped his face, every corner.

Mitch looked at her and held her hand to stop her, "It's really okay."

The girl just looked into his eyes as he opened her palm to get her handkerchief. "I've spilt a lot of juices on everyone's faces as well, so I can relate with this."

Mitch laughed as he wiped his face and the girl just awkwardly laughed. "C'mon, tell me your name."

"Kirstin Taylor Maldonado is the name, sir." She said.

Mitch frowned at her and laughed loudly which caused everybody to look at them and Kirstin to blush.

"I'm very sorry now." Mitch smiled as he frowned because of embarrassment and walked towards a bench. They were still in front of the church.

Kirstin followed him and sat beside him. "Uh, can I go now?" She asked.

"Of course, you are already forgiven." Mitch laughed once again.

Now it was Mitch's sister to sit beside him. "What's the girl all about?" She asked.

Mitch rolled his eyes, "Stop." Then he laughed, standing up from the bench and walking to his father.

His mother also went with them as his sister followed.

They already went home and hours passed, but Mitch was still holding the girl's handkerchief. It sucks because he didn't know where to meet her again.

But her eyes are so remarkable, and how soft her hand is, or even her voice. Her white dress is also like her good feature Mitch will never forget. She looked cute when she blushed though.

He groaned in frustration, knowing that the only information he got about her was her name is Kirstin Taylor Maldonado.

"Hey." Mitch's sister went inside his room. "How's it going there?"

"I'm fine, just a little bit hopeless about something." Then he groaned again, rolling on his bed to get space for his sister to sit on.

She went to Mitch and sighed as she sat on his bed, "What is that, baby boy?" She asked.

"There's this girl-"

"You like, okay."

Mitch glared at his sister, saying, "You're not helping."

"Just continue you dork, don't mind me."

"Well, okay."

"She's beautiful, yes, and you two could look like the most perfect couple. I support you."

"I swear."

"Okay, continue." Then she laughed, making Mitch roll his eyes again.

"I just wanna befriend her, like I wanna know her. I feel like we'll be best friends."

"So, you're in a Cinderella search now?" She asked.

"Yep. But I still can see her at church, so maybe next week."

"You already got the answer on how to meet her again, what's your problem?"

"I probably scared her."

His sister rolled her eyes. "Mitch, you're the one who tends to be more shy than a girl."

Mitch laughed at this because it's true. "Just go out of my room for a minute, then go back here if you need something else."

"Okay?" Then his sister walked away from him and went out the door.

Mitch stared at the handkerchief, knowing that he's too young to even confirm what he was feeling.

He was feeling this kind of urgency to meet this girl, is it a crush? No, it wasn't.

He just needs to be sorry for what he has done. He might have embarrassed Kirstin. His laugh tends to be so loud and he accepts it, so he won't change it.

But why on earth is he thinking about how she looked at him? Kirstin looked at Mitch as if she's overwhelmed or, as if she was familiar with Mitch.

Was she afraid of him? Mitch hopes not.

Someone knocked on his door which caused him to be snapped out of these thoughts.

"Mitchell, my son? The dinner's ready." That's already his mother.

"Just 10 more seconds, mom!" Said Mitch.

"I'm counting, Mitch."

Mitch sighed, and there was the first time he met a girl who admired him so much just by first sight.

And he admired her back.
