I guess I was running from something, I was running back to you.
"What is that?" Avi was intrigued on what Mitch was looking at, and he's not this type of person to even be intrigued.
But there must be something on what Mitch saw, Avi was asking about it for good five minutes already.
He didn't contain it anymore and decided to take a sneak peek of what Mitch is looking at, "What is-"
Then he saw this girl dressed in a fancy cocktail dress, it was white as snow. She looked like the bride on the wedding scene of the picture, she was like the simplest princess you'll ever meet.
It happened in this small garden with light pink roses and green leaves. The aisle? It was a white carpet. The surrounding was perfect, everything looked very perfect. Indeed.
But what Avi saw next was what overwhelmed him.
The groom who looked very happy, he even was with tears of joy, and who was very masculine to look at, was Mitch.
Nothing of his facial features really changed that's why Avi recognized Mitch easily.
There were a lot of pictures of that moment, then he also saw this young Scott, holding a piece of paper.
Avi looked at the current Mitch who looked very shocked and who cringed at it for a little moment. "What is that?" Avi asked.
Mitch halfway closed his laptop and said, "Nothing." But in the inside, he was smiling. He can't contain his happiness on seeing that. He clearly remembers it. Even the vows.
Thankfully, Avi didn't see the next picture. It was Kirstie, crying hardly but she was laughing along with Mitch and Scott. The current Mitch just didn't want it to go viral, a reason why he never told a soul, but everyone whom he invited that day, about this.
I must've loved Kirstie those moments. Nope, I'm such a liar. I still love her. Mitch thought.
He looked at Kirstie who continued telling stories with Scott and Esther. She is such a beauty in whatever way. No matter how Mitch wanted it back like before, at those moments when Kirstie just threw him to Scott, it will never go back to that phase.
He suddenly remembered that Jonathan said they can ease the stunt. They can turn back to normal slowly.
"Mitch, why don't you join our conversation?" Esther said. "Talk about your single life and how it's meant to be happy." She laughed.
Mitch's eyes widened and laughed. "No thanks, I'm in a relationship with myself."
"Really?" Esther laughed.
"Don't believe it?" Mitch laughed. "Then don't." He smiled for a second and looked at his phone, checking his Instagram account this time.
"Oh, feisty. What's the news, queen?" Esther sipped her glass of water which was almost done.
"Nothing really much." He said. "Casually talking to this guy, that's all."
Scott dramatically rolled his eyes and sighed because he knows about it. He laughed as he remembered how Mitch talks to that guy. His name's Oliver. Mitch was never sure where the guy lived because Oliver doesn't even know that Mitch is from Pentatonix, all he knew is he's from Texas and they're still getting to know each other via a dating app.
"Oh." Esther said. "You just said you're in a relationship with yourself."
"Yeah." Kirstie said. She was facing the fridge, not looking at Mitch. She seemed jealous and Mitch doesn't know why but he wanted to congratulate himself for such an achievement.
"We're not yet in a relationship, princess." Mitch said, still looking at his phone.
"Oh, so you're lying now." Kirstie still didn't look at Mitch, standing up to get her way to the fridge.
"Why? Do I have to be honest with you all the time?" Mitch scoffed. "Besides, we're just friends, not a wedded couple."
Kirstie glared at him but he wasn't looking at her. She doesn't know why but this brought her anger up. She fumed and said, "Okay, I'm officially done with this conversation."
Mitch let her. He should let her go, although he seemed cannot.
As expected, after one second, he finally gave up on his conscience. He stood up and, "Kirstie."
He stopped her by holding her wrist, "I'm sorry." He added.
Kirstie looked his way and said, "Forgiven." Then she got her hand back from his grasp.
