Chapter 8

Mikey's P.O.V
As I sit on my couch eating a bowl of Fruit Loops with Sterling in my laying in my lap, I go into a deep thinking. How the fuck do you make milk out of almonds? Who told Ashton that baby turtles are called "Tadpoles"? What goes on with Luke when we are not with each other? Why does he do that to himself? Should I ask him? What are him and I?

A knock on the door snaps me out of my thoughts. I stand up and lay my bowl on the table in front of me and walk towards the door. I look threw the peep hole and see Luke standing there waiting for me and instantly smile. I twist the knob to open the door "Hey babe, what's up" he smiles "Well I kinda promised Cashton that we would hang out with them tonight" crap, I totally forgot about that! "Oh.... Yea I was actually about to get dressed and call you" I say trying to play it off like I didn't forget it "Yea, okay sure you did" he smirks at me, damn it didn't work. "I'm just going to run up stairs and get dressed" he walks over to the couch and picks up Sterling "Okay, hurry up!"
I run upstairs and get dressed.
Luke's P.O.V
I sit there and play with Sterling as I wait on Michael to get dressed. My phone begins to ring, I look at the caller ID "Cal Pal" I answer it:
"Hey"
"Hey are you guys coming or not?"
"Yeah we are about to leave."
"Okay, well hurry up you know how impatient I am"
"Yea I know. I'll see you soon"
I hang up the phone and hear Mikey walking down the stairs "You ready?" He's wearing a blue flannel and black skinnys and a SnapBack..... He's wearing a SnapBack.... He looks hella sexy with a SnapBack on. "Yeah, but I'm going to drive because you have no idea where they live" he looks at me and smiles "You know how to drive right?" I laugh and pull out my drivers license and hold it up "Would I have this if I couldn't drive?" He laughs "Yes, do you know how many people have one of those and can't drive to save a life?" I laugh and stand up then walk over to them and hold my hand out to him "Keys please?" He reaches his hand into his pocket and pulls out his keys but before he hands them to me he puts on a serious face and says "If you hurt my baby, We are never talking to each other ever again" I grab the keys from him "I'm your baby and nothing or nobody else is" I say in a even more serious voice then drag him out the door before he can reply.
         When we pull up to Ashton and Calum's apartment complex I look at Mikey "Aye, your dead" I laugh and he just give me the death glare making think that he actually might be dead..... He walks up next to me and laces his long fingers with my shorter ones "Your not THAT bad of driver" he says as I guide him to the apartment.
        Once we get to door I open it walk right in. Yes, I know that's rude and all but they do it to me plus we have each others house keys. Calum looks up from the couch "It's about damn time!" I laugh "Well a certain someone took to long to get ready" I glare at Michael as he chuckles. Kat and Matt are also there. For some odd reason Kat I staring at Michael and being the jealous boyfriend.... Wait no not boyfriend I mean person.... What are we? Back to the point why I she staring at him? "Kat? Something caught your eye?" I ask calmly trying not to sound jealous. She snaps out of her glare "Oh, sorry. Michael your hair looks amazing! The red really suits you." She says while smiling. I don't really know why I feel jealous I mean like Mikey is gay and Kat has Matt. Plus, I've known Kat for 5 years. She would never do anything like that.
     Mikey smiles "Thanks Luke picked it out" I blush and the thought of him adding that part. Ashton comes out from the kitchen "Sit down everyone! We need to make plans for tonight!" Mikey and I take a seat on the the couch next to Matt and Kat.
       "Hey where's Harry and Louis?" I ask noticing they are no where to be seen. "They are going to meet us wherever we decide to go tonight" Matt replies. Calum shoots up from is seat "Let's go to that party the Jacks are holding tonight!" We all look each other then nod our heads and decide to go.
         Once we arrive at party we walk into the house and are suddenly hit by the smell of all types of mixed drinks. I look around and to see who's all here, basically all of Matt's Magcon group, the Janoskians, and the one person that caught my eye.... Nick Laws (a.k.a my ex). We have a long history. But, are relationship ended on a good note, it was a mutual thing. I mean like we talk from time to time. The main reason him and I broke up was because he graduated before I did and wanted to go to college in the states. The distance was just hard. I wonder why he's back. Mikey grabs my hand and snaps me out of my thoughts. "Want to go get a drink?" I hesitate for a minute. "Umm, sure." I pull him through the crowd towards the kitchen part of the house. Apparently the Jacks hired a bar tender man for the night. I just get whatever Michaels drinking. I have no idea what it is but its hella strong. I like it though. 
     Mikey and I begin dancing to the music along with Cal and Ash. I have no clue where Matt and Kat are though. They're probably hanging out with all the other Magcon people or making out in Matt's room that he has here. Did I mention this house is huge?
      "Where's the restroom?" Mikey says in my ear over the music "It's up the stairs all the way down the hall and on the left." I tell him and watch him walk off.
     I go over to the bar area thing and got something called a Screwdriver I have no idea what was in it but It tasted amazing. As I stood in the corner drinking my drink waiting for Mikey, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned my head to see the one and the only Nick Laws.... I guess I wasn't doing very good at hiding from him.
      "Hey!" He says slurring his words. God I hate how easily he gets drunk.... "Hey Nick, how have you been?" His face drops at this question "I've been okay.... I guess I've just been a little sad since we broke up and I left" He says quietly but loud enough for me to hear. I would be lying if I said he wasn't my first love and I haven't missed him and wasn't devastated after he left. He never did me wrong. We were together for 4 years.... I was 14 when we met and then 17 when he left... That was only a year ago to.... But, I've found Michael and I'm extremely happy with him.
"Yeah, I was to" I say and before he can reply Mikey walks up behind me. "Hey Lukey, who's this?" I look at him then look at Nick "This is my friend Nick. Actually he's my ex" he doesn't say anything for a second "Oh, cool nice to meet you Nick. I'm Michael, Luke's boyfriend" After those words there's just an awkward silence. "Well, I'll just let you to be. It was nice seeing you again Luke!" Nick smiles and walks off.
I turn around facing Mikey "Boyfriend huh? I didn't know I was taking" he laughs then does that thing where he bites the inside of his cheek then rolls his eyes "Yes, you are boyfriend unless you don't want to be" I smile and think for a second "Well... I mean I just saw my ex boyfriend and realized I'm still in love with him.... I'm sorry Mikey but no, I don't want to be your boyfriend" his hands drop from my waist and he turns around and begins to walk off as he does that I grab his wrist and spin him back around and pull him close to my lips
"Babe, I was kidding I would never say no to you. I want to be your boyfriend forever and always and maybe be more than that." I say in his ear and he begins to smile "I knew you wouldn't turn me down" he winks at me. I kinda just stand there in shock "Wait. What?" He laughed then said "I might or might not have over heard your conversation with Kat a few days ago." Dang it! He heard me tell Kat how I might be falling hard for him.
I roll my eyes and pull him by his shirt and place my lips on his not having a care in the world of who sees us. I couldn't be happier right now. His lips taste of whiskey and other alcoholic beverages. I pull away from the kiss "Let's dance!" He laughs "yea, okay."
