Erin's POV
After Jordan left me I walked though security which went both fast and easy. I was so used to travelling because I did it so often that I knew all the small hacks and how to get though an airport fast. Also California was a place I visited often and I knew the airport well.

Standing in front of a big board with all the departures I look for my flight so I can figure out which gate I'm going to. After seeing plenty of different destinations I finally find mine, gate A56.

It is still not boarding so I head over to a little café I like to visit when I'm at the airport and grab a sandwich and a bottle of water. After that I walk to my gate with all the others of travelers.

When I reach my gate it is just about boarding time but I decide to sit down on one of the benches and wait a bit because it is always people who block the way to your seat anyway.

I look around me and I see a bunch of people standing by the gate next to mine waiting to board, I look at the screen up above their gate to see where they are going and I read Greece.
I let my mind wander to the warm sunny Greece with the blue water and white buildings along cliffs and lush greenery. I had never myself been to Greece but it was definitely a place I want to visit.

I let my mind leave Greece and my gaze wander over all the people passing by with happy smiles on their faces.

I love airports for some reason. It had to be because I love traveling and seeing new places. Think of all the people passing by who are traveling to so many different places in the world. I like to watch them and image where they maybe are going.
I look at a European looking family, they all have blue eyes and are talking some strange language. Maybe they have been on vacation here in LA and are now flying home to Sweden or another European country.

My daydream disappears when I see that the line for the boarding on my plane is almost gone and only six people are still here. I quickly get up from the bench and pull my passport and boarding card out of my purse.

I enter the plane and give a smile to one of the flight attendant before I look at my seat number, a window seat on row 14. Perfect, I love widow seats so I happily walk over and sit down.

Soon after we are in the air I bust out my pink headphones and start some music at the same time I start to edit a building game session.

The editing goes fast because it isn't really much editing in a building game and I switch out the music for an audio book at the same time as I start to nibble on my sandwich.

I lean backwards in my seat and take a look out the window. Dark clouds are crowding the sky, probably filled with rain. Luckily we are above them and I can still see the shine from the sun. I snap a picture with my phone reminding myself that I need to post it when I get WiFi again.

Time passes and so does the words on the book I'm listing to. The plane ride is slowly coming to an end and we start to lower into the clouds that now seems even darker than before. The seatbelt sign lights up but I've already the belt on so I remove my headphones and turn my phone off.

Me myself not someone scared of flying gets surprised when the plan suddenly shakes. Soon after you hear the capitan in the speakers telling us that we are flying trough some storm clouds and that it is going to be a very turbulent plane ride.
I once again look out the window but the only thing you can see is dark grey clouds that never seem to end. I close my eyes and think of Jordan. Lying in his arms cuddling in front of the TV, I miss him already...

Later...

Jordans's POV
Dark clouds are appearing on the sky and rain starts smatter against the big windows. Rare with rain in California but it is getting closer to winter so that probably why.

I throw myself in the couch and start the TV, the screen lights up and the news show is just about to start, I decide to watch it.

The dark clouds that is slowly filling up the sky is not just a little bad rain but instead a storm. The news tells me that the storm is coming from where Erin live and I directly think of her. I hope that she landed safe and got home safe. The thought of her in the storm gets me worried, she haven't called yet and she usually does that after she lands.

No, I think and try to push the thought away, Erin is okay. Right?

I pick up my phone to call her, just to ensure myself.
The ringtones pass by but she isn't picking up, I hang up and try again. Maybe she just didn't have time to answer?

Once again the ringtones pass by but she isn't picking up which leaves me with her sweet voice telling me to leave a voicemail, and so I do...
