Chapter 16

Fierce Deity's P.O.V

"Fierce Deity! Get your lazy butt up!"

I open my eyes and see Link standing in front of me. I shoot him a glare and pick my heavy body up off the floor. I felt much better today. My arm healed up and sleeping got my energy back. I rub my sleepy eyes and stretch.

"The floor made my back hurt. I don't like the floor very much." I breath.

Link chuckles and moves his hair to the side.

"I don't think the floor likes you either."
"Guess so." I chuckle.
"Alright! Should we head out and find (Y/N)?"

My ears twitched at hearing her name. I nod and adjust my hat. We step out of the clock tower and close the doors behind us. People had already seen me walking around Clock town at night, so I'm not concerned about people seeing me in the daylight. Something felt off about today though. The sky was unusual gray color. People wasn't outside like usual. The air was slightly cold and made the hair on the back of my neck stand. I think Link noticed it to. He had his sword unsheathed and ready to fight. Light and Tatl wouldn't come out of my hat. That made me worry even more.

We step into Termina field very cautiously. As soon as we took one step out, Link was attacked. Link hits the ground, hard. Link slowly gets up and brushes it off like it was nothing. We both run to the middle of the field and stand back to back. Music fills my ear. It was the song of healing, but backwards. In the distance I see BEN standing there with a huge smirk across his face. He looked more creepy than usual. Link gasps from behind me. I quickly turn around to see (Y/N) standing there. Only, she wasn't herself. Her hair was dark (h/c) and her eyes was a darker color as well. Her teeth were sharp and as well as her long black nails. She wasn't smiling or moving at all. She suddenly starts to laugh like a madman!

"Look at what we have here!" She laughs.

She teleports in front of me and smiles innocently. I grip onto my sword and pray I don't have to use it.

"What's wrong Fierce Deity? Didn't you miss me?" She smiles.

I close my eyes and shake my head. Is this some kind of joke!? I don't want to fight her at all. But I know that's not really (Y/N). I open my eyes and look deeply into hers. I saw my (Y/N) crying. She was banging on the inside of this (Y/N)'s eyes like glass. I take a step back and ready my sword. Suddenly BEN lunges for me, but Link blocks his attack. The two look a-likes start to clash. While me and '(Y/N)' stand there, staring into each other's eyes. She pulls out a sword and looks at me with a thirst for blood.

"You know I'm not doing this because I hate you. It's because I want to see (Y/N) suffer. Don't take this personally! I'm just having a little... Fun."

She try's to hit me with her freakishly long sword, but I block. She try's to punch me but I grab her arm and twist it. I hear bones pop as she lets out a shriek of pain. She falls to the ground and hold her twisted arm. I bend down to her height and chuckle.

"You forget that I'm a God that's lived for a long as time it's self. You do forget that I'm way bigger and stronger than you. You forget... That good always wins. I learned that the hard way."

She stares up at me with hate. She slowly stands and grabs her arm and twists it back. The cracking of bones fill the air. She chuckles and picks her sword back up.

"You forget that if you kill me you kill (Y/N) as well. You forget that I've planned for this! You forget that sometimes, evil can win."

Before she lunges at me, we both hear a big thump. We look over to see Link laying on the ground with BEN towering over him. BEN slowly turns his head towards us. He chuckles at me and picks up Links sword. He bends down to Links ear and says something I can't quite pick up. Link gasps and try's to get up, but BEN pushes him back down and stabs the sword into his chest. My eyes widen as Link's body goes limp. I hear something hit the ground beside me. I look over and see '(Y/N)' holding her head.

"I've had enough!" '(Y/N)' says.

She coughs up blood and her eyes widen. She starts to glow bright white. My and BEN stand there in shock. A bright light causes us to close our eyes. The bright light vanishes and we open our eyes to see the real (Y/N) standing over the evil one. Her hair was white and so was her eyes. She carried a staff and raises it up high.

"You made me cry and hurt. You made me think about dying. You planned on killing my love. You've killed one of my best friends and now. I'm going to kill you."

She stabs the staff into her chest and '(Y/N)' goes limp. She looks over at Link and sees that BEN had already left. Bloody foot prints lead into the dark woods. (Y/N) changes back to normal and falls to the ground. She covers her face as she cry's. I bent down and hug her crying body. She suddenly gets up and rushes over to Link. She puts her ear to his heart and listens. She sits there for a minute before looking over at me and letting more tears fall.

"H-he's gone..."

I felt like crying myself. But I didn't because that would make (Y/N) feel even worse. I hug her tightly before picking up Link and walking to Malon.

"W-where are you going?"

I look back at her and let a tear fall.

"Going to Malon..."

She seemed to forget about her at the time. She quickly rushes over to me and nods. We make our way to the ranch in complete silence. We finally make it to the ranch and (Y/N) knocks on Malons door. She opens it up and gasps. She saw (Y/N) covered in blood and bruises.

"What happened?!"

(Y/N) hugs Malon tight before pointing to me. Malon look over at me and turns pale. She slowly walks over to me. I set Link down on the grass carefully. She bends down to him and strokes his hair. Tears were streaming down all of our faces. She grabs his hand and smiles sadly before whispering,

"I'm pregnant..."

(Y/N) busts out crying. She falls to the ground and try's to muffle her cries. I quickly pick her up and hug her the best I could. She wraps her arms around my neck and buries her face into my chest. She was shaking and chattering. Malon looks up sadly at me.

"Tell me, did he die trying to help you? Let me know he didn't die in vain."

I smile sadly and put (Y/N) down beside Malon. The two girl hug and cry into each other. I wipe the glowing tears from my eyes and look up to the sky. Dark clouds covered the once bright blue sky. Rain started to pour over us. All the happiness was gone. Every bit of it. Everyone was crying and weeping. The sun wasn't shining, no birds chirping, nothing. It was cold and sad. I pick up Link and carry him over to the best spot to bury him. The two girls follow. I quickly dig a place and set Link in the hole. Everyone says their last good byes before I cover up the hole. Malon was trying her hardest not to cry. Everyone headed back to the house. We all sat outside in the rain. No one said anything. Just the pitter patter of rain drop hitting the ground could be heard.

If only I could've changed this...

;-; Omg... I just killed Link off the story. I'm so sorry! I actually came up with this on the spot. And Malon being pregnant doesn't make things better does it? I feel sad...

Okay! So you all probably want an explanation of why I haven't been posting chapters lately. I've been very sick with a cold! Also, I needed a break from writing! I also wanted to hang out with my friends and stuff. I'm so sorry! I love each and everyone of you! I will be posting more often! This book will be coming to an end soon! But I'm thinking of a sequel book. Is that okay?
