It's been years! I've finally been able to post this chapter and I'm so glad because I MUST finish this story sooner or later. I'm soooo sorry for making you guys wait so long! 2 reasons:

1) I had THE worst case of writer's block. I'd literally just stare blankly at the screen.

2) COLLEGE APPS! This month has been revolved around getting those done and figuring out what University I plan to attend next fall

Now, I hope you all can forgive me and stay as loyal to this story as you've all been!

Also, I saw that this story almost has 10k reads! What?! You guys are amazing by choosing to stick to this story despite the very long waiting. I appreciate each and every one of you.

NOW, on to the good stuff..

Edward's POV

The lights overhead dimmed slightly. His face twitched at the exact moment, but I knew it was not of anger, but of resolution. There was no way out. His little games would end tonight as I made it my life's mission to finish this once and for all.

"Where. is. he?" I sneered.

Vexin smirked, a pale finger descending onto the steel table that quivered as his leg shook. The tapping of his long, unkempt finger matched the tick-tock of the clock above us.

My patience was waning.

"It'll be too late by the time you find them. My son will end this, but not in the way you'd like it to end."

"Since when have you cared for your son, huh? You're only using him, why kid yourself and him? You're a sorry excuse for a father and Villa must fucking know it if he defied you the way he did."

His tapping stopped. I struck a nerve.

"He wouldn't," he whispered menacingly.

I scoffed. "Oh really? So you don't know about the raid at the night club, I presume. Or the attack just last night."

For a good solid hour since we arrived at the psychiatric facility, Vexin was resistant to even speak a word. He ignored all contact until I mentioned the disappearance of Bella. It put a sick grin onto his face until he laughed heartily. No one stopped me from bashing his head into the table to keep him quiet. We came here in order to get the location of a small cabin he was rumored to have hid in while on the run. Police officials never located the place for whatever reason, but they figured it didn't matter since they caught him. How wrong they were.

I knew how he worked. He enjoyed this game of keeping me on my toes...keeping me from finding Bella. It was as if he was reliving the night he killed her father. The moment I made this connection, I promised Bella I'd end this for her and for our family. She deserved to live in peace...I just needed to find her first.

I was going for the kill now, and informing Vexin just how loyal his son has been to his little plan. It was the only thing he cared for. His narcissistic behavior was as potent as ever.
