The past week had gone by perfectly, Stevie and Lindsey were doing great, all had been forgiven and they were back to being the family they were before
"Daddy, daddy, help me swim" lily called to Lindsey
"Okay baby, hold onto my hands and push your legs backwards so your laying on your front" lily did it and Lindsey slowly walked around the pool gently pulling his daughter through the water
"Yay mommy, look daddy is helping me swim!" Lily called to her mother but she was sleeping on the sun lounger
"Daddy mommy is ignoring me, can I wake her up?"
"Hmm nicely or not nicely?"
"She ignored me so obviously not nicely" Lindsey and lily both giggled to each other, Adam was asleep in his stroller by the doors to the sun house
Slowly lily toddled over to her mother with a bucket of water, she pulled it over her head and emptied the contents over Stevie, causing her to scream and sit bolt up
"WHAT THE FU..." she stopped before she swore after seeing her daughter in front of her
"You ignored me mommy, so daddy said I could wake you up"
"Oh he did did he?" She scowled at Lindsey from over her sunglasses
"Don't ignore my daughter then!" Lindsey replied with a smile
"You two are trouble together you know that?" She smiled now too
Lily decided she wanted to swim some more so Stevie decided she would take this time to make the sandwiches for later, she walked through the hallway and noticed and envelope on the floor by the front door, she walked over and opened it been as it was addressed to her
Stevie,
I can't stop thinking about the kiss we shared, it's been a very short amount of time but I feel so attached to you it scares me! I really need to see you again, please please phone me when you read this!
PaulStevie couldn't believe he had wrote to her, she felt slightly smug that she still had it but then remembered how it had almost ended her marriage, screwing the piece of paper up and throwing it in the bin
"What's that babe?" Lindsey spoke from the doorway causing Stevie to jump
"Nothing just and old shopping list" she didn't want to tell Lindsey about the note in fear of them getting into another argument
"Need some help with the sandwiches?"
"No it's okay, will you wake Adam and feed him please?" Lindsey agreed and gave her a kiss before leaving the kitchen

Days had passed and Stevie was still getting notes through her door, all saying pretty much the same thing as the first had, she couldn't lie that it was starting to scare her because his notes got a little more graphic each time
Stevie was glad that Lindsey was out the time that Paul had actually phoned her at home, she told him that her and Lindsey were working on things and that he couldn't call her again and he needed to stop writing the notes
"You alright Steph?" Lindsey asked after a long bout of silence
"Yeah why?"
"You just don't seem yourself, your quiet and your so jumpy" he put his arm around her
"Seriously I'm fine Linds, this pregnancy is just taking a lot out of me"
"I understand honey, look we are really low on some food bits, will you be alright if I pop out to grab them?" He didn't want to leave her by herself but they needed food
"I'll be fine" he reluctantly got up and put his jacket on giving her a kiss before leaving, he didn't want to be gone to long
Lindsey got in his care and drove away, promising himself that he would just get what was on the list and that was it, Stevie was home alone because the kids had gone to stay with auntie Chris for the night, he just wanted to get back to his wife
After speeding round the store Lindsey paid for his items and left, driving home and phoning Stevie to let her know he was on his way back, he didn't get an answer and thought she must be sleeping so he stopped ringing as not to disturb her.
Pulling up the drive way he grabbed the bags and walked into the house, it was quiet so his suspicions about Stevie sleeping must have been correct, he made his way into the kitchen and placed the bags on the side, picking up a glass and filling it with water, he took a sip and noticed a piece of paper on the side with Stevie's writing on
Lindsey,
I have thought long and hard and I just cannot do this anymore, after much thinking I have come to realise that I have fallen in love with Paul, he his such a good man and he treats me so well, which you haven't really done at some points, I just know that he would be a wonderful father to my child and he will take care of us both! I'm truly sorry, but you just don't make me happy anymore...not like Paul does
StevieAll that could be heard throughout the house was the sound of Lindsey's glass shattering as it fell to the floor
Sorry it's been a while, I've been so busy with work and going on vacation, but I hope you enjoyed this update and that I'm not boring anybody, that's my biggest fear! Thanks for reading! Xo
