Day 7: List 10 activities that help you calm down.
1) Reading a "comfort book" (e.g. Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the Princess Diaries or a Jacqueline Wilson book).
2) Writing either a poem to release my feelings or carrying on with a book.
3) Talking to (or texting) my friends.
4) Watching my favourite film(s): Perks of Being a Wallflower or the Hunger Games.
5) Talking to others who have been/are going through what I'm going through.
6) Drawing a butterfly on me (google: the butterfly project).
7) Looking at inspirational quotes.
8) Listening to music (why did I leave this for number 8? This is always my first choice).
9) Looking at corny jokes (they make me laugh, okay?).
10) Sleeping and/or eating (but not at the same time).
