"People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit.
Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous.
How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters.
Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain."― Jim Morrison

Zoey's POV
The sky was cloudless as there was only bright coppery and dim crimson shades left painted in the sky. I glanced the road which mixed clear and muted filled with mysteries as a hint of flashback hit my mind.
"P...Ple...(sniff)...Please sweetheart. I am begging you. Oh please (sniff). D..Don't leave me. I...(sniff)...am still all...(sniff)....yours. I already....(sniff)....left Sapphire. Give me one last chance. Please (sniff) sweetheart" as Andrei sobbed deep down on his lungs, bended on his knees.
"No. Don't leave her. This is over for both of us. So many things I've realized Drei. You made me believe in fucking-happily-ever-after, now it sucks! We just ended up in fuck-all-the-shits-you-made." I am so devastated, broken and completely ruined! Still I cant face the FUCK (fact) that my fiance shit on me. Just freaking wow!
"I love (sniff) you...swe...(sniff)....sweetheart, I just can't a...afford losing you. Here without you...(sniff)... would be hell....(sniff)...to me. Please, sweetheart...(sniff)...Please!" He pointed his chest as if dying without me. Then, DIE! You bastard!
"Just back the fuck off Drei! Get your ass off in my house! Don't give me another reason to curse you! Get lost Drei! Get lost!" I dragged him outside my house and slummed the door shut on his face. The moment I closed the door, I cried so hard as the world collided on me.
There was dimulative beeping sound interrupted my thoughts and brought me back to reality. I held my heart, it was beating frantically.
"It's okay Zoey. It's okay." as I mumbled. I composed myself before answering my cellphone. As I pressed the Caller's button, a loud and hyper voice welcomed me.
"Hey Zoey! You're so fine, you're so fine! We're gonna shine, hey Zoey! Go! go! go Zoey!" I frowned as Demi sung this Falala song to me.
"What?" I answered dryly.
"Don't you give me a standing round of applause for that? That would gonna trend the social media if I've taken a video for that. Hey Zoey! You're so fine, you're...."
"Okay! Okay! Hands up Demi! I'll make you an article about your oh-so-amazing-hidden-slash-talent. That would surely dump Jessie J and Ariana Grande." I grinned.
Demi is my co-writer here in Manhattan, New York. And Yes! I am a writer and contributor of different genres of books. Due to my burning desire and passion in writing, I received several awards and won various writing completions all over the world. Writing is my life, I must say. I love imparting what I've got and scatter the beauty of life. It is just like the air that magically brings infinite blow of life. It's just like, there's an extension of my life whenever my books were being published and appreciated.
"Hey bitch! Are you still alive?" See? This is what you called TRUE FRIEND. Always ready and never hesitate to to slapped annoying words on your face, that's why I love Demi. He has this strong personality and infectious aura. I don't give a damn if he's gay. Demi is one of a kind. Loud and straight, yet possess a sincere and humble heart. He is the ambassadress of the LGBT Community in New York, Vice-Chairwoman of the Youth Association and the title holder of Apex Best Author in Canada. He always wear his smart-pants that's why he has his smart-ass.
"Thank you Demi." I said softly. He always made me smile whenever I am in my deepest trouble.
"You bitch! Save your gratitude. Come here now in the office. We need your golden mind." He said in an acting irritated tone.
"Ayay Captain! Just a moment. See you bitch!" And I ended the call.
Since our office was just a walking distance from my penthouse, I take my time capturing the beauty of the City. The city has panoramic view. The different shades of street lights brought the spirit of magic around the place. there were also numerous restaurants, fast foods and stalls designated properly which made some tourists love to visit every now and then. The scent of various types of flowers linger and render a comfortable sensation. I saw clique of children playing and chasing one another. So carefree and innocent. I closed my eyes as I remembered again the roar of pain which I am trying so hard to forget.
