Aiko's P.O.V.

I started to walk to my room when I bumped into someone.

"Oh sorry," I apologized.

"It's okay," a familiar husky sexy voice said.

I looked up and saw Gaara in his Kazekage robes. I started to get flickers of something.

But of what? It was like I was trying to remember... but it hurt every time I tried.

I groaned in pain.

"Aiko!" Gaara said anxiously. His hands flitted around but didn't touch me because of the pain we were sure to experience.

"Please come back to me." That familiar husky voice said.

Who said that? Was it a memory? And if so does that mean the jutsu is wearing off.

My heart wrenched at the pain in the unknown mans voice.

Suddenly I was ripped away fron the memory by a vicious pounding inside my head.

I started to see black before I slumped onto the floor.

"Aiko!" Gaara cried helplessly.

I groaned as another excruciating wave of pain hit me.

I immediately stopped trying to remember my unknown past.

The pounding gradually stopped. Unril it felt as if it was never there.

I looked up into Gaara's concerned eyes, and I got lost in them.

"Please tell me that you're okay?" He pleaded and grabbed my shirt sleeve. Careful not to touch me.

"I'm fine..." I trailed off and stood up on shaky legs.

He cleared his throat, "I'll take you to the doctors to make sure that you're okay."

"Really that's not necessary." I protested. It was embarrassing and I really felt fine.

"Aiko there could be something wrong and I don't want to risk it." He said worry clear In his tone.

"No," I said stubbornly.

He appeared frustrated for a minute before nodding. "I have some paperwork to do. I'll see you later."

I smiled to myself and walked to my room. Aiko one Gaara zero.

I was getting ready for bed when there was a knock on the door.

I opened it and only to see an older man there.

"Uh... can I help you?" I asked.

"Umm yes. I was here to check on you. Lord Kazekage said that you had colapsed earlier and need medical attention."

That sneak! Well it's not going to work. I don't need any type of medical attention.

"That's alright. Lord Kazekage is being overly dramatic." I told him and started to close the door.

"I'm sorry. Lord Kazekage said that I would get a raise if I give you a check up and I need to send my kids to the ninja academy. The money would greatly help." He pleaded.

I hesitated, I am sooooo going to get Gaara back for this!

***

After the embarrassing and unnescessary check up I went in search of the Kazekage himself.

The only thing the medic ninja told me was that I was okay. And he prescribed rest. Nothing useful.

I have my own hypothesis over what happened. Everytime I remember something about Gaara it hurts. And since I actually remembered something, it was twice as painful.
