Chapter Twenty~One

Alex's POV

After Taylor and I hung up I couldn't help but smile.

I walked downstairs and saw my mother's car was gone and my dad was also gone and Sam was asleep on the couch.

I gently woke him up.

"Yes Alex?" He asked sitting up.

"Where's mom?" I asked and he shook his head.

"You woke me up for that? She went to take Naomi and Ava to do some girl bonding stuff." He said getting up and going to the kitchen.

"What did you do this time?" I asked.

"What makes you think this was my fault?" He asked getting a bowl of left over papa's spaghetti.

"You got mad at Ava again didn't you?" I asked my brother and I could see the answer in his eyes.

I went up to my room and called my older sister Lia.

"Ciao questo è Lia." I heard my sister say and I rolled my eyes.

"You know I can't speak Italian Lia." I said and I heard her laugh.

"Forse dovresti imparare." She said and I just rolled my eyes again.

"Or Lia you could just speak English. " I said and she laughed.

"Where's the fun in that?" She asked laughing.

"No where to be found." I said and she laughed. I loved my sister even when she gets annoying but don't tell her that.

"Maybe you should go look for it." She said and I sighed.

"Or I could not care." I said and she laughed.

"Only you Alex. Anyway how's school going?" She asked and I sighed.

"A little less bad." I said simply.

"Did you make a friend?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said and she squealed. Only Lia.

"What's her name?" Lia asked getting excited.

"Taylor. " I said and she squealed more.

"My brother finally made a friend!" She yelled.

"Did you grow balls and ask the girl out?" She asked and I sighed.

"Well not exactly. " I said and Lia sighed.

"What did you do?" She asked less excited.

"I kissed her." I said and she gasped.

"What?!" She yelled."Did you talk with her after the kiss?" She asked and I could tell she was interested.

"Yes Lia." I said and she laughed.

"You two confessed feelings and then hung up and you still have yet to ask her to be your girlfriend?" Lia predicted.

"Exactly." I said and I knew she was smiling.

"My little brother is growing up." She said and I laughed.

"Says you." I said and she faked gasped.

"For your information you twat I can't age any further for I am immortal so I can haunt you forever. " She said and I laughed. "How's mom,Sam and Naomi?" She asked getting serious.

"Same old stuff. Mom is out doing stuff with Ava and Naomi and Sam was sleeping on the couch but now is eating trying to avoid the fact he made Ava upset." I said and she sighed.
