It's been a few days since Xylia stayed with Alyia. It's been a few days since they made the video cover. Xylia were thinking about her parents.

"What's their reaction?"

"Did they even care?"

"They're too busy arguing with each other to even bother me."

"Parents nowadays."

Joy's POV

"Xylia get up from your bed now you're gonna be late for school," I shouted from the kitchen.

I have to admit. Our family is falling apart. Me and David barely talk to each other now. We also have not spending any time with Xylia.

"Xylia!"

No response.

"What is this girl doing?" I said as I wipe my hand to the towel beside me and walked to Xylia's room. I open the door and gasped. The room is in a mess. Xylia is not even there.

"Maybe she's in the bathroom," I thought.

I went down to the bathroom and knocked on the door.

"Xylia, are you in here?"

No response. I guess she's already off to school then. I went back to the kitchen and continue my work.

Xylia's POV

I walked down the streets, drowning with my own thoughts. Mom...Dad...Calum...Mali...and job.

"Well, this is the best for me," I whispered.

I looked up to see any restaurant for me to go in and have my lunch there. Alyia is at her college studying. Rebecca and Celestine are in school so there's no one for me to hang out with. I walked further down and I see McDonald's. I shrugged as I enter the restaurant and walked to the counter. I ordered cheese burger and fries. As I was eating my food happily, I saw a campaign of finding an employee.

"Cashier...I'm in," I thought.

I walked to the management office which is beside the counter and knocked on the door. I heard a faint 'come in' and I opened the door slowly. There's a guy in his thirties sitting on behind desk, stressing his brain out with all the papers in front of him. He looked up and cleared his throat.

"How can I help you dear? he asked.

"Hi..um so I saw this campaign of finding an employee. Is it still open?" I asked.

"Oh yes!" he exclaimed finally happy that he found a new employee.

"Oh cool, do I need to get interviewed or something?" I asked.

"No need dear you can start working tomorrow at 12.00pm if you're ok with that," he smiled.

"Yeah that will be awesome." I said, happy that I got a job already.

I thanked him and walked out of the office. I walked back home and flopped on the couch and on the television. I can't wait to tell Alyia about being an employer at Mcdonald's. As i was flipping through the channels, I remembered the music video cover me and the other girls made. I went to YouTube and search for the video.

"Woah...500 views. Oh my god," I gasped

I quickly messaged Alyia even though she's still studying.

Xylia🌸: Dude...We have 500 viewers.
Alyia🤘🏼: What viewers?
Xylia🌸: Our cover in YouTube.
Alyia🤘🏼: OMG! This is awesome. Lemme tell Celest and Becca first. Damn this is amusing.
Xylia🌸: Yeah man. Never mind I'll tell Celest and Becca, I have their contacts. Just concentrate in your studies.
Alyia🤘🏼: Oh okay. But bruh studies and school sucks😂 but I go to go or else the lion teaching in front of me will start to make noise. See ya!💖
Xylia🌸: okok😂 see ya!💖

I quickly text Celestine and Rebecca saying the same thing. They haven't responded yet. Must be stressing with school I guess. I put down the phone and sigh. I look around the house. It's a little bit messy so I clean up the house a bit. After cleaning, I cooked some food for Alyia. Since Celestine and Rebecca will be coming, I cooked extra macaroni cheese for them.
