Nothing really matters.
When you're just here, alive.
But not really living.
When you're just going with the flow,
Hoping it goes slow.
It doesn't really matter.
This slight depression.
Because it's not even depression.
And it doesn't really matter.
This slight disappointment.
But who cares, it's dumb
Cause it doesn't even matter.
Hoping the impossible might happen, when you know it never will.
And we all like to dream, but that's all it is: A dream.
Dreaming that the day might come, when your life will change in the blink of an eye.
But it doesn't really matter, you need to get off that high.
Cloud nine isn't real. So it doesn't even matter. But a girl can dream, cause it doesn't even matter.
So you dream of what you want, those simple but exciting fantasies. Knowing it wouldn't happen, cause frankly, it couldn't happen. And really.. it shouldn't happen.
Which doesn't even matter.
Cause a dream is a dream. Fantasy isn't reality, and reality is cruel. So we live in our dream, creating the perfect fantasy, playing a fool.
But it doesn't really matter,
Cause nothing's even real.
No one has to know.
No one can ever know.
But it doesn't even matter
When it matters to you.
