The vampire secret

Chapter 14

I got dressed and told my mum I was going to meet up with shay. Lying to her was not my favourite thing. I told her I was gonna be late also since I have to go to work.

I waited outside on the front porch for shay to come. In the mean time I was reading my book. It was getting more crazier,creeper, and the suspense got more intense. Every word just increased the tension.

Later on I heard a car pulling up, I looked up to see shay, I smiled to him. I grabbed my bag and headed to his car, opened the passenger seat and headed inside.

"Hi Nessa"

"Hey shay.....so any plans?"

" I was thinking about finishing our project maybe?"

" oh yeah....well I can't stay too long. I have to go work"

" oh...um ash can I ask you something?"

" sure...what's up freak?"

" um why do you work? I mean of course to get money but I mean...you know"

" me and my mum are not the richest people. We are not rich at all."

" well what about college?"

" I would love to go college...I mean I would go if I had the money."

We pulled up in his garage and headed inside his house. We walked downstairs to the basement, where we usually hang out when I come over.

" would you like something to drink?"

" um sure"

" what would you like?"

" surprise me" I said smiling to him.

" got it"

He walked back downstairs with two drinks. He put the cups down on the glass table, and sat down.

" um Ashley? Why are you sitting on the ground?"

" um I don't know I just enjoy it more I guess"

" well back to the project....since we already have some ideas I thought it will be cool if we start taking the pictures soon"

" yeh sure"

" the project is due in a few weeks and the only thing we have done so far was plan what love kind a is....we still have to take the pictures, then filter and edit them a bit, then we are done"

" edit and filter? How are we gonna do that?"

" we can use my computer

He stood up and opened the slide door to show a bed room. He then opened another door in the bedroom and it was a game room. The game room contained games but also a desk with a computer.

" is this your game room?"

" yeh"

" wow this is pretty decent"

" thanks"

" so now what?"

" I guess I can teach you how to edit and filter pictures a bit on the computer and then drop you off at work"

" really? Thanks Shay"

He showed me how to filter and edit a few pictures. For example; change a few colours, make a few parts of the picture bigger and some smaller. It was quiet easy.

He then dropped me at worked. And he decided to stick around for a while to order a coffee and a muffin.

After work, I walked home while texting shay. When I arrived home I climbed into by bed and decided to talk to shay. And for a while I mean like 2 hours.

Me and him were getting closer. As friends. We hang out together a lot recently. I really do enjoy his company. We get to know each other more. But he will never know that I am a vampire, well at least I hope he won't.

Crystal has been stayed in the other world for a while. She told me she had a family party for 3 days. I don't mind her gone but at the same time I did like talking to her. She was special to me because only I can see her. Only me. And I guess I'm some way she was a good friend
