You walked to the classroom after a small chat with your new friend, Karin. You entered the classroom with a bright look on your emotionless face. (Yes, emotionless people can have a bright look. Surprised?)
This day is going to be great!
You saw the girls in the corner just like yesterday, except, there's a whole lot of them.
You calmly moved to your seat and sat down.
Geez,
"Ah, if it isn't (l/n)-chan~! Good morning!" You turned your head to someone you just encountered yesterday. Her long reddish pigtails covering some parts of her face.
"G-good, morning s-senpai.."
"It's Fujiwara Ayumi." She said with a bright smile.
"Oh, um, Fujiwara-senpai." You slowly replied.
"Good morning, (f/n)-cchi!"
"Hn?" You looked at where the voice came from and saw Kise smiling at you.
You shivered as you saw his smile.
On your days in Teikō, he always smile at you. That reassuring smile he gave you. It was the sweetest thing you've ever seen, a smile of your best friend.
But now, things have changed. You yourself don't have any idea how it even changed. You decided to use the super casual answer in your mind.
"Good morning." You answered with a visibly-forced smile on your face. He noticed and just smiled back.
"Ooh! It's so nice seeing some juniors getting along!" Fujiwara-senpai said.
No.
The bell rang and most of the girls(including Nanami) that were hanging out with you and Kise left. You were surprised that some of them are in your class.
He's getting real popular here..
Class started and ended real quick. It was now the time where you meet the basketball team members.
"Kise, let's go." you called him out and he nodded.
--
You two were now walking to the gym, awkwardly.
It's only silence that filled the atmosphere.
God, are we supposed to be quiet like this?
We were so close back then.. what happened to him?
Tch, I shouldn't be thinking about this..
You tried to keep your cool around him. And it worked.
--
The two of you were now meters away from the basketball court.
"Oi, (l/n)-chan!" you turned around to look for the source of your name.
It was Kasamatsu-senpai.
"Oh, Kasamatsu-senpai."
"SENPAIII~!!!" The guy next to you just flew right before your eyes. He hugged Kasamatsu tightly.
(This isn't supposed to be a yaoi fanfic, right?)
"Tch." You ignored the two and walked into the basketball court.
As you enter, the team members started looking and even staring at you. You just ignored them, and kept walking until you stopped in front of the coach that's also been staring at you.
