Whoops, I made a mistake and straight ahead published this earlier. Sorry guys.

And we're back to the part where I messed up real good. The three of us are heading to the book festival that's supposed to end in the next 3 hours. We're forced to run since it's the only thing for us to catch up.

There I see it, the goddamn festival. We stopped our tracks as we get closer, each of us catching our breath.

"WE'VE ARRIVED," Karin said.

I still don't like the fact that she's gonna set me up with Kise. No, I hate it. I thought about some good idea so that we can get out of this place as quick as possible. Luckily, there were some people cleaning up their book stands. Just in time.

"Wow, and it's actually about to close. Well then, why don't we all go hom--" I said while walking forward before a hand caught my shoulder.

My best friend had fire on her eyes, "NO." she said.

Dammit.

She cleared her throat and start to speak, "We just got here, and there's still people around. We can't just blow our chance and abandon all of tHESE BABIES!" and her eyes turned into hearts.

One last plan to get out of here, "But, you said that you're going to leave soon. Are you planning to ditch your 'family plans' just because of these books? Oh, and.. you're still going to accompany me, right?" I said.

Karin turned around to me and said, "Oh, non. I'll be leaving in 15 minutes and I'll be carrying 15 books with me." and she ends it with a damned wink.

I clench my hands, "WHAT KIND OF BEST FRIEND ARE YOU,"

And there she goes, walking around the festival.

"(f/n), just stop screaming and act like a normal person," a yellow boy said.

I can't believe she set me up with this guy.

I faced him, still pissed off, "What do you mean by that you dumb little shi-" I stopped myself as I see people looking at me, widening their eyes. Staring right into my dark soul.

Shit.

People were staring at me again, just like before. And there was one girl that had her friend holding on to her as if she's gonna beat me up. She said "Don't mess with Kise-kun or you'll regret it!". I don't mind, please kill me now.

"See?" Kise said disappointedly.

"Be quiet,"

"I'm supposed to say that,"

We keep on denying each other while walking around, losing track of my best friend, Karin. Until, well, we end up in a peculiar area.

Why the heck are we in the kids' books area.

I ignored Kise and walked along the shelves and found something rather important to my own self, novels.

"Found them,"

What was the name of Prince's Pride's author again?

I opened my bag to see the book that I always carry everywhere. I picked it up and examined it.

What even, there's no author for this book? Not even the details of when and where it was made and published? And I just noticed this?

I'll ask Karin about this..

I put the book back and raise my head to look over the shelves for Karin. There were no sign of the black-haired fangirl. Damn. I'll be alone with that dude.

A certain voice shook me, "You're searching for Hanatsubaki-cchi?"

Oh lookit, he's here.

"Yes,"

"She just left,"

"Oh," you just got fucked up now, (f/n).

I tried to keep my cool. I somehow forgot how I became friends with him in the past, and that was merely 2 years ago. What did we even do together when we were friends? Why the heck is everything so awkward?

Kise shook my shoulder, getting me out on my thoughts, "Are you done searching for books?" he asked.

Shit. I didn't even pick anything.

"What are you going to buy?" He asked.

I picked up some random book that was lying around right next to me. Keep in mind that I didn't even look at it once.

"I guess this.. encyclopedia thing," I said.

He facepalmed as he see the book I'm holding and sighs, "You just picked it up, and that's not even an encyclopedia,"

"Fine, whatever this thing is I'll still buy this," I said stubbornly.

--

After we bought our stuff, Kise walked me home. Although, I have no idea how he knew my house.

I had the urge to ask him about something and I called his name, "Kise,"

"Huh?" He looked at me.

He looked pretty cute while looking back at me. God, please stop doing this. I don't like this guy, do I?

"Nothing.." I looked away, hiding my tinted cheeks.

We stopped as we arrived to my house,

"Bye, I guess.." I said, still not looking at him.

"Bye," he said.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT, (F/N). YOU BLEW IT. YOU MADE IT WAY TOO AWKWARD.

I got into my house, surpised as I saw a sight of my sister looking at the window.

"A guy walked you home," she said.

"Yeah,"

"He's that Kise Ryōta guy, isn't he?"

"Yeah."

"The one that is a model?"

"Yeah."

"He's cute and you like him," she continued

"Yea-- uhh.. no,"

Shit.

"So you admit it! Haha!" she laughed.

"..."

Shit.

--

Meanwhile in Kise's side..

The boy covered his face with his hands, blushing.

"I-I thought (f/n)-cchi was going to confess.. or something.." he said.

He removed his hands and began walking to his home. "I guess I wasn't that cool enough for her.." he sighs.
