Chapter 8

Sharlynees POV

We arrived at my place at 12 that day to prepare the house for my nieces we picked Sab up on the way as Sylvie was at school and would catch the bus home and my nieces would be arriving at about 4 ish and staying the night.

I set ash to work cleaning their bedroom while I set to buying some Disney movies they had been telling me about the other day.

Once they were bought I went to check up on ash to find him finishing up the girls room.

I helped him get their toys down and set them up. The girls had a lot of toys from me I was the devoting aunt that bought them whatever they wanted.

They had Barbie dolls, unicorns, horses and all the characters from their favourite Disney movies.

Such as snow white, Cinderella, little mermaid and sleeping beauty. They were spoilt but that's what happens when they have an auntie with money and no kids of her own just yet.

 The kids were like my own little princesses and I told ash just this.

By the time we had the place ready my younger sister came home, went straight to her room and then to Sabs room not even noticing ash.

When she came out cooing to Sabrina I decided to wait till she noticed the unknown man standing behind me.

It took her a while in fact it was about 5 minutes later after she had set Sabs play area up in the lounge that she noticed and came into the kitchen to see why I wasn't talking to her about my day or next to Sab like I normally would be.

"Hey sis, how was your........Who is that man standing behind you?"

"Sylvie this is ash, Ash this is Sylvie"

"Um sis can I um..... Talk to you in the lounge" with that she stormed off into the lounge room

I laughed and turned to Ash and said "just wait here ill yell out when it’s safe to come in" as I walked into the lounge the questions start.

About 10 minutes later I looked at the clock and noticed that the girls were meant to be here in about 15 minutes.

So I interrupted my sister. "Hey sis sorry to interrupt but the girls will be here soon, I have answered everything I can about Ash, and I don't know where our relationship is going ok?"

she was stunned into silence just as she went to answer the doorbell rang and I thought 'wow there early' and walked towards the door only to find it open and my nieces running at my legs.

While Sage staggered in under all their bags of extra toys

I laughed and pretended to fall to the ground causing the girls to think they had overpowered me when in reality they couldn't push me over.

Sage laughed at me and dropped the bags down and said "have funs with my girls ok? Come here my baby's time for daddy to go home to mum while you stay with auntie Shar, Aunty Sylvie and Auntie Sab."

With this the girls launched themselves at him and he caught them in a bear hug saying goodbye it was almost sad to watch but the girls just said bye and walked back to me.

 I said bye to sage and told him I would take good care of his baby's.

I wonder how the girls were going to handle ash.

I didn't tell Ash this but the girls always knew when someone was bad or good kids just know these things or I believe they do.

So I was putting ash to a test today and he didn't even know it I wished him the best of luck ad if he passed I would ask him to date me.
