Chapter 17 Part 1

im so sorry this has taken so long. it isn't edited and is only half or a third of this chapter but I have school; tomorrow and its almost eight here and I have to be up at 5. I will write more as son as possible and get it to you as quick as possible im so sorry to have made you wait this long. hope you forgive me. and I know its a weird chap but the rest will come I promise.

Chapter 17 part 1

The drive was silent except for Sabs occasionally mumbled words. Eventually we turned down a narrow drive way that was partially hidden by a forest of trees.

The drive was long about 2 kilometres’, and windy so you almost didn’t know which direction you were going in. At the end of the drive was a house that was about 5 stories high and looked to be from another century.

Beautiful in an old fashioned way. Next my attention was drawn to the number of cars in the yard there where quite a few. With this I looked at Ash and asked “what is with all the cars? I thought it was just the close family.”

“Yeah it should be, but other people live in this house.” Ash replied non-coherently “That doesn’t bother you does it?”

“No of course not a full house is a happy house.” I smiled at him before opening my door and getting Sab from the back. She looked at me with the cute smile of hers and then snuggled into my chest.

I caught Ash looking at us with a deep look of longing, this had me wondering if he wanted kids in the future and how many. Hopefully he would want a few as I did myself.

The front door which I could see from my position slowly opened to reveal a little girl who scanned the area and spotted Ash next to me.  She then screamed “AASSHH” and ran at his legs; Ash bent down and scoped her up spinning her around.

I shouldn’t feel jealous over a little girl and yet I was it made no sense to me. Ash obviously sensed my emotions and turned to face me introducing me to the little girl in his arms.

“Shar this is my sister Rose, Rose you know about Shar and the girl in her arms is Sab.” Ash gently introduced us to Rose. Knowing she was his sister calmed me down but I still felt unease towards my abrupt feelings towards the girl.

Rose was a shy young girl by the way she hid in ash chest and slowly peeked out at me and Sab as if examining us for any threat. She then whispered in Ash’s ear, I couldn’t hear it but whatever it was made him smile in relief.

He then looked at me and said “why don’t you come inside and meet the rest I assure you that Rose is the hardest to impress.” I looked at him showing him that I was okay and slowly walked towards the door with him in the lead.

The door was solid wood with a window to see who was there but what had my attention where the wolves carved into the door work they were in pairs or families and looking up at the moon.

There was an obvious pair in the middle looking at the moon but raised on a rock they looked to be in charge. If you looked between them there was a pup in-between their paws, looking out at you as you walked through the door.

It was a beautiful piece of work, and should be appreciated by all. The house was huge you walked into a normal greeting pallor. The only difference was the couple standing before us.

They looked to be in their thirties, although I would guess that they are Ash’s parents which would put them in their forties. The woman was shorter than the guy she would be about 5’5 and the man looked to be around 6’1 foot.

The female although short was welcoming she approached me and kissed both my checks before introducing herself.”Hello dear my name is Felicity and this is one of my wonderful husbands Roman, the other is Rowen but he is busy at this time. You will meet my other son at diner and I see you have meet Rose.”

She stoked roses check in Ash’s arms and this allowed me to look at her probably. She had blonde waist length hair just shorter then myself and had blue eyes almost as deep as Ash’s.
