Chapter 16

Sunday came and went. I had a wonderful day with Ash and the girls, Sylvie even joined in for a couple of hours and I could tell she was warming up to him.

This pleased me I don’t think I could have stopped seeing ash if Sylvie couldn’t accept him. I felt this tug in my heart every time he was more than a couple meters away from me.  The feeling scared the crap out of me but at the same time made me feel special and enlightened.

Today was Monday and although I had work I was currently on my lunch break, shopping for a suitable outfit for the dinner tomorrow night that Ash told me about yesterday. I was so stressing about the dinner and I had no idea what to wear.

Ash being a guy had no idea and told me to dress casual. I was meeting the family it was a big deal in my book, meeting the family should be semi formal. So right now I was trying to find a cocktail dress that was classy and sexy to get ash’s attention.

I only had 40 minutes for break and had spent 30 in various stores so far. Suddenly my hand fell through the coat hangers to land on one slightly hanging back from the others. I pulled the dress out praying that it would be perfect.

The dress was v-neck, with shoulder sleeves a strip of fabric matching the sleeves between my breast, a tight bodice which stops at my hips and flow down my legs to a couple inches above the knee. I couldn’t be more surprised that I found such a perfect dress.

Did I mention that it was in my favourite colours a dark purple and a dark blue. With this I grabbed it and headed for the checkout. I had the perfect heels at home, they where a dark blue with the heel being a purple.  My jewellery would be minimum and none flashy. My whole outfit had been planned in my head and would be perfect for the next night.

I had organised the day off work to prepare myself. I had to wax, get a pedicure, a manicure and a massage. All to relax myself before I went home and styled my hair do my makeup put on some sexy underwear and put my dress on with my heels giving me 3 inches of extra height.

I couldn’t focus for the rest of the day at work; all I could think about was Ash and the mysterious guy at the park, which made guilt flood through me. Shaking my head to rid those thoughts, I checked the time and packed my desk up it was time to collect Sab from day-care.

When I got home I got Sab her dinner which consisted of apple sauce and mashed potato. A weird combination I know but Sab enjoyed it. I got myself the salad and meat I usually eat and sat down to fed Sab.
