Chapter 8

Aria's POV

*DINGGGGGG*

"Bye! See you at lunch Caroline!" I tell Caroline, as Bonnie and I walk to history.

I'm not really feeling history today, but I totally forgot Grayson and my best friend is in there. That made me feel better.

Bonnie and I enter the room where my history class is,

"Hey Bon, where should we sit?" I ask

"Let's sit towards the back, so we can be on our phones"

"You're a genius. Why didn't I think of that"

she giggles "C'mon dummy"

Bonnie and I keep talking until the bell rings.

*DINGGGGGG*

Where's Grayson? He should be here. I guess he got lost. This is a pretty big school.

I'm interrupted in my thoughts when my terrible teacher named Mr. Bolding walks in. He's basically a walking stick. It creeps me out.

"Good morning class, I will pick up you're assignments now"

HUH? Did I just hear correctly? ASSIGNMENT?

"Bonnie! What assignment? Did you do it?" I ask frantically

"Bruh, chill. Here" she says as she hands me her paper. She's the real MVP.

I sigh in relief,

"Oh my god Bonnie you're a lifesaver"

I copy down the answers quickly, and pass my paper to the person in front of me.

"Alright, so today we are going to be learning about ancient Mesopotamia. First-"

Mr. Bolding was cut off by someone knocking on the door.

He walks over to the door, and opens it. I notice he has a confused expression on his face.

"And you are?" he asks, as the person walks in.

Oh my god. It's Grayson.

"I'm sorry..Mr. Bolding?"

"Yes, that's me" (A/n: thats so raven💀)

"Oh okay. I'm sorry I got lost and yesterday was my first day" he says

"Oh, well that's alright, take a seat anywhere"

His eyes lands on me and he picks the seat that diagonal from me.

I smile to myself, as Mr. Bolding continues his lesson.

He sits down, as he looks at me straight in my light brown eyes.

I try to pay attention to Mr. Bolding, but I really can't, because I can feel his eyes on me.

I feel a buzz in my pocket. Someone texted me.

Bonnie💞🤗: cutie is staring at you

Does she mean Grayson? Yeah I can feel him.

I look up at Bonnie, and then Grayson and I's gazes meet. I smile, as I keep staring at him. I swear it felt like forever. It's official. I got lost in his gorgeous hazel eyes.

Before I know it, the bell rings and I snap out of the trance I was in.

Bonnie and I get up and head to meet Caroline in the commons of the high school.

"Hey guys! I'm starving lets go eat" Caroline says and we all laugh.

"Lets go to taco bell!" I suggest

"Great idea!" Bonnie and Caroline say.

And with that, we all get in my car and zoom off campus.
