Damon:
"So we meet again Y/N." Damon greets, strangely."Hello, Damon." I reply, out of decency.
"You've been avoiding me for a couple of days, anything wrong?" He asks. He's right though, I have been avoiding him. He scares me. "I could just compel you to tell me." He interrupts my thoughts.
"No, I've just been busy." I lie.
"Doing what?" He pries, circling the bourbon in his glass, round and round until I answer.
"Eating and sleeping." I laugh, but Damon wasn't laughing. He slammed his glass off the bar and walked away, murmuring something under his breath. "Okay, bye - Damon" I shout, downing the rest of my glass of wine. I go to pick up my bag and coat, but my bag isn't there. "Damon!" I whisper-declare and furrow my eyebrows together. Now I have a guess at what he murmured. To the Salvatore house I go.
-------
I arrive at the eerie, gothic mansion and knock on the huge door. "Damon! I need my bag!" I shout, still knocking.
"Well, I need you to go out with me tomorrow night." He insists, dangling my bag just out of my reach. "Now, you have a choice. Say yes to the date or I'll hide this bag and the only way you'll be able to get it back is - through a course of riddles."
"Yes." I sigh.
"Yes what?" He smirks.
"Yes I'll go on this 'date'." I swallow my pride. He hands me my bag back, finally. I stand there for a while.
"Why are you still stood here? Don't you have some eating and sleeping to do?" He mocks and waves bye.
"Goodbye, Damon." I turn around and smile.
Stefan:
In English class, I always end up staring into space. I assure you it doesn't look pretty; I look so gormless. But the direction I stare into is always in the direction of Stefan - I probably look like some stalker, psycho bitch.
Maybe Elena sees and bitches about me to Caroline and Bonnie. Well I don't care, I have myself (I know, lame).
But today in English, it was different. Stefan caught me staring and wrote something in his book, tore it out; crumpled it up and threw it at me (somehow without the teacher seeing). I opened it up and it wrote: stop staring. Just come to the grill tonight. You can stare all you want then. I blatantly blushed and mouthed 'okay'.
Elijah:
Hanging in the grill with me, myself and I, I feel someone's prescience upon me. I turn around swiftly, being faced with a stranger with a familiar face.
"Can I help you?" I confidently ask, returning my attention to my coke. The stranger didn't reply, he just sat opposite me in the leather booth. His stare was piercing through my skins and bones until it reached my soul.
"Yes." The familiar man spoke.
"Yes, what?" I asked without thinking about my conversation starter.
"You can help me." He stated.
Nervously, I started to stir my coke with my straw. "Why, how?" I stuttered, looking up cautiously at the handsome man. I'm sure I know him from somewhere.
"I still can't find my sister." He spoke.
"And that is my problem, how?" I sassily responded. He placed his hands firmly on the table, playing with his fingers.
"Please. I cannot be tested at this moment in time, Y/N." When he said my name, I quickly shot a stare at him. Flashbacks of a couple of weeks ago at school started to play in my mind.
"I do know you!" I stated, not thinking before I spoke.
He raised a brow before answering. "You forgot who I was? Maybe if we were to go to dinner, you would remember me."
Was he asking me out? What about his sister?
"Okay?" My voice broke when I reached the 'ay?'
"Is it though. Y/N, my dear. That sounded more of a question to persuade yourself to come. I am asking you out on a 'date'. " He rolled his eyes at my actions. He was impatiently waiting for a response.
"Okay."
Klaus:
"We meet again, Y/N." Your acquaintance, Klaus, greeted when you took your mail out of the mail box.
"Hello, stranger." You reply, smiling widely at him.
He walked over to you and placed his hand between your shoulder blades, which made you jump slightly; but you soon were very comfortable with his touch.
"You seem to like me very much." He whispered in your ear.
"Oh, yeah?" You turn your face to his and raise your eyebrow.
"Yes. And as it seems, I am very fond of you." He removed his hand from your back and walked to face you. You scanned his body quickly as you hadn't gotten a proper look at him. His eyes were beautiful, he was rather attractive.
"Really now?" You tried aimlessly to seem nonchalant.
"Yes and I know you feel the same, if not stronger." He stated, he wasn't wrong though; it seems that I am very 'fond' of him. He took my silence as obedience. "So I am asking you to be on the front of your house by 7:30, tonight."
"Okay. What do I wear?" I replied instantaneously.
"Formal wear." He simply said and after looking down at my letters, he had vanished.
